"It was Friday afternoon almost after regular business hours if not after, when my parents needed a dumpster on last minutes notice for the next day. I found this business called Load and Go. I gave them a call left a message and they contacted me promtly, they were very professional, gave me a fair price, and dropped the dumpster off the very next morning! I highly recommend them and will continue to hire them for my future needs. Load and Go is the way to go to put on a show."

Dumpster Service questions, answered by experts

Only throw soil in a dumpster rental if you have permission in your contract to do so. Organic materials such as soil often make the list of items that shouldn't go in a dumpster, but this depends on the agreement. Some dumpster companies will accept non-contaminated soil as well as rocks, yard debris, and compost.

One of the best ways to reduce packaging waste is to purchase materials that are made using recycled materials. While these don’t eliminate waste, they do help provide uses for old packaging materials and prevent the need to collect more raw ingredients for continued manufacturing. Recycling those same products helps complete the cycle and reduces the need for new materials in the supply chain. You can also upcycle some packing materials, like cardboard and plastic, for use in crafts and organizational tools.

The best way to choose the right dumpster size for your project is to speak with a reputable dumpster rental company. Let them know what job you’re doing, including the size of the project and the type of material you’re disposing of. These professionals have experience with fitting heavy and bulky items and can advise on how to dispose of everything safely and legally. A representative should be able to guide you in choosing the best dumpster for the job. In most cases, the company will advise you to size up to avoid overage charges.

The size of the dumpster will determine how many squares of shingles can fit in a dumpster. You can place between 4 to 20 squares of shingles in most standard containers.

No, you can’t throw anything in a dumpster. For example, organic waste should not be thrown in a dumpster. While you can throw recyclable materials in a dumpster, it is encouraged to separate them and properly recycle them for the sake of the environment.
