"The crew did an excellent job stuccoing the entire house. The building was old and had irregular walls, old stucco, and bare walls. Vimar Stucco used lath on the entire structure, including covering the old stucco where others wanted to use a bonding agent (glue). They took their time and straightened the rough areas, did the columns,  front of the deck and two out-buildings.  The house looks like a new structure. Even our other contractors are amazed at how well it turned out. the price was less than other quotes we got. They even loaned us scaffolding before the job started so we could do some exterior work.  They did a nice knock-down finish on the main house and matched the stucco finish on one of the older side buildings.  I would gladly use them again. They are a small operation and can be difficult to contact, but they did reply to our calls and texts.

"Jeff really is AWESOME! He has done a lot of work for me over the last 18 mos. and will be doing more, because he is always on time, exceeds expectations and his fees are always reasonable. Most importantly, Jeff really does treat your home like his own. So, I did not need to hire a lot of different pros to get projects from start to finish. Jeff did a beautiful job patching drywall and painting the interiors of 2 homes for me--one of which sold in 3 days for the asking price, the other I live in now. He matched the exterior paint on the chimney of my new home to cover the seller’s sloppy stucco patch job and did it so well the patch itself is hardly noticeable. Also, Jeff patched a hole in the side of the concrete foundation and did such a great job, it’s unnoticeable, and so tight it stopped tiny ants from coming in. He also repaired several interior and exterior doors and replaced all but the frame of a damaged attic ladder by himself (Not an easy job). Jeff is amiable and honest and when he couldn’t do a job, he said so. Then he went out of his way to find someone who could, for a great price. Can’t ask for more than that."

"We stared out investigation for companies to refinish our pool 2 months ago.  we selected Hooks Stucco, Eloy Garcia, because he gave us a very comfortable feeling.  He was willing to meet us at several location so we could see he quality of work.  One of the places he showed us was done 9 years ago because we wanted to see how the finish had lasted.  His quote was in line with all the others we checked, but we felt they would provide the best job.

"I got two estimates before stating.  This company had a slightly lower bid but the difference in pricing was not significant and was not the deciding factor.  This company only does painting - no other work - so I chose them because it's their speciality.  The job was scheduled to begin on Monday, 5/20/13 and they showed up on time and ready to work.  Joe Harley came with his crew the first day (5 team members) and got them started, going over everything I wanted done.  They got to work quickly and efficiently.  They moved all the furniture and took everything out of the closets and our huge walk-in pantry.  They worked well as a team - some doing trim and doors while others did "cutting in" and wall painting.  A well-oiled machine that got the job done in 3 days - amazing!  They showed up as scheduled each day and worked hard all day.  The job looks great and I couldn't be happier.  I would definitely recommend them and would hire them again!
