"I had Mike out here to do a chimney sweep and inspection and he was amazing! He was very kind and had a lot of knowledge on chimneys. When the day came to do the repair he got here on time unlike most companies, and did an outstanding job with my chimney repairs. I couldn’t be more happy with Mike, the company, and the amazing chimney I know get to burn in safely!"

"The estimator came out and walked and measured the roof. Pointed out some obvious soft spots in the decking underneath. Substitute shingles had to be ordered due to one manufacturer not being able to supply them. A large crew arrived to install on the scheduled date. My major reason for giving a B rating and not an A is excess materials were not picked up until 3 weeks after the project was completed after 3 requests to "finish the job." I am very pleased with the color and the workmanship."

"
Original ridge vent was installed when the roof was replaced in 2010 by Wilson's Roofing of Bay County. After a full year of use I had the ridge vent inspected by two other roofing companies and found that the vent was not done correct. It was causes a strong odor in the house due to the fact that the hot air was back flowing into the living area. Since Lewis replaced the ridge vent with one that meets the required ventilation I no longer have a problem."

"Excellent. The company walked me through it and addressed any questions and concerns I had. I love that I can literally check on the status of my home on my phone. I can set the alarm or remove it with the touch of a button. Frontpoint feels that self installation is safer and superior then having a stranger come in and set it up. I agree. I am a 72 year old widow and had no trouble installing the alarm system myself. Now I feel secure and I also know exactly how everything works. If there is a problem, Frontpoint is a phone call away and will walk me through addressing the issue."

Chimney Liner Installation questions, answered by experts

A high-quality vinyl pool liner can last 10 to 15 years with proper maintenance. However, factors like poor water chemistry, constant UV exposure, heavy use, or harsh weather can reduce its lifespan to as little as five to nine years. You should consider replacing your liner when you notice significant fading, discoloration, wrinkling, cracking, or multiple tears. If the liner is heavily damaged, it's best to have a professional inspect it.

Yes, you can DIY a pool liner, with careful planning, measuring, adherence to a step-by-step process, and a few helping hands to get the job done. Keep in mind that the type of pool liner you choose could impact how easy it is for you to install. For example, beaded and J-hook liners hook to the edges of the pool either via an allotted bead receiver or hook. Overlap liners don’t use clips and can easily drape across your pool frame without an exact fit.

Both above ground and inground pools can have pool liners. Inground pools made of gunite don’t need pool liners, and you’ve probably walked along an unlined pool and felt the ripples and ridges on the floors and walls. But adding a liner over gunite or other pool types helps protect the wall panels from algae growth.

Routine maintenance for an above-ground pool includes regularly cleaning the pool and its filters, balancing water chemistry by checking chemical levels, and inspecting the pool liner and structural components. This ensures the pool's durability, safety, hygiene, and optimal performance.

The cost to repair a swimming pool varies widely, with an average cost around $700. The total expense can range from as little as $10 for simple DIY fixes to over $20,000 for extensive overhauls. Key factors influencing the cost include the type of pool (in-ground vs. above-ground), its size, and the specific repairs needed. For above-ground pools, repairs typically cost between $100 and $700. For in-ground pools, costs are higher, generally ranging from $350 to $2,700. Common repairs include patching liners, fixing plumbing or electrical lines, and repairing equipment like pumps and filters. More complex issues, such as fixing a cracked beam, can cost $6,000 or more, while major projects like resurfacing a concrete pool can cost between $10,000 and $20,000.
