Hello, My name is Brad Phillips. I own B’s Home Renovation and Decks. Me and my wife have five beautiful children that we cherish and adore. We provide a good foundation morally and instill financial responsibility and trust. \n\nOur business is our livelihood. I provide carpentry solutions and handyman services for central and south Alabama, South Georgia and North Florida. My education background is in Finance from Auburn University, but my passion has always been woodwork. My start in carpentry/ construction began in general woodwork for custom home builders on Lake Martin in central Alabama. Due to the good fortune of connecting with trusting clientele, I have expanded my list of providable services over the years since this time! It is my opinion that my core competency and overall value offering eliminates the two largest setbacks that consistently prove to be problematic in this line of work… Communication and Price. I provide a solution to what seems to be the newfound industry standard of “subcontractors.” Cut out all the miscommunication that comes from discussing your project with one person, just to have another person complete it. If the person you are paying is not the person completing the work, you are PAYING TOO MUCH!

"We have been dealing with contractors and painters for several years with much disappointment and dissatisfaction. Pitts Brothers was recommended by a neighbor when we were searching for an exterior painter for an outdated beach house we purchased out of state. Wow! We scheduled the estimate and they showed up when they said they would. Completed the estimate VERY timely. Gave an itemized breakdown of the costs (there were a few interior items like painting a 3 story foyer and replacing an outdated light in that foyer ), available start date and estimated completion date. Since it was purchased as a rental property, there were some work arounds from our end with renters and Joey was extremely accommodating. He scheduled exterior work when people were there and saved interior/going through the house for when it wasnâ t rented. We completed the walk through with him and HE pointed out things that he needed to touch up. It looked PERFECT to us! The site was left clean- cleaner than he found it! No empty drink cans/bottles, no cigarette butts, Not even spilled paint/splatter on the ground from the clean up- We aren’t used to that. He went out of his way to replace some loose boards on the front porch and step. He replaced a molding/ trim piece around an exterior door that they don’t even sell anymore so he had to buy wood pieces and create the piece. It looked original! He sent pictures almost daily (since we were out of town) of the progress, any questions/to clarify. Any expense outside of the original estimate was because we asked for something additional during the process. He was happy to clarify the request, give us an estimate on that, and add it to the list. When inclement weather interfered with planned exterior paint work, he rearranged and worked on some of the interior requests. Pitts Brothers showed up on time each day and worked a full day (8-3 or 4) with a short lunch break. I have never dealt with such professional contractors IN MY LIFE! I havenâ t dealt with many people as professional as Pitts Brothers in any line of work to be honest. So much so that if/when we need paint work done in our home state, I’ll call and see if they are willing to make a road trip :-)"

"I can’t speak highly enough of Speakman’s Painting. As soon as I submitted the inquiry through Angi’s he reached out and completed the job within the same week. Every question was responded to within minutes and they were extremely polite and professional. He did a great job painting my bathroom and even helped me with a few things that weren’t in the initial job description for no extra cost. I have no complaints. This is a very honest company and I give them 10 stars! I will definitely be using them again for my next project."

"I had water damage on ceilings throughout my house from leaks due to Hurricane Micheal. My Wife and I had considered a full kitchen remodel at the time of having the ceilings repaired but every contractor we spoke to wanted to do the kitchen and not the ceilings... except for Jorge... his first point of buisness was to make sure that our ceilings were beautiful, and repaired... he even made suggestions that made sense saved money and ended up being beautiful. We had 6 rooms replaced with flat Sheetrock celiengs, and installed recessed lighting, and other accent lights... while we were living in our home... Nashaly and Omar were respectful and courtesous to our need to get in and out of our house with an infant child, they cleaned every night when they finished, asked about and listened to any issues we had and handled them promptly... this was the best experience that we have ever had contracting someone for home repairs..."
