I sent Daniel a message on Angie's List, he replied to the message (that night) and he called me the next day.  He came over and gave me a quote and the following day they did the job.  They were very professional, very skilled, very quick and their equipment looks very advance, therefore they had no hiccups in the job process. The work was excellent.  Normally when someone pressure washed my house, they would be here all day, sometimes equipment failure, and not do an excellent job. I will be calling him next spring to wash my house.

"We found Aitken’s onDemand when driving down 98 looking for a home to purchase in April of last year. Specifically the palm trees caught our eye. We initially had them put in five palm trees in our front yard. Our initial consultation was with Mitch who was extremely professional which impressed me. We initiated a pool build in November and decided to get a few quotes for backyard landscaping and lighting, irrigation, sod and fence repair. Out of the three quotes Aitken was not the most expensive and it was not the least expensive. We decided to contract Aitken to complete the project for us based on their previous work in our front yard and their professionalism. I can say that I am 110% satisfied with the end result, had the opportunity to meet all of their crew as well as Steven, the owner. Absolutely five stars and highly recommend!"

"The knockdown resurface job looks beautiful but the job took longer than expected and promised. Got contract just before work was completed so some work I had asked for wasn't done but by the time I got the contract, it was too late.

We started off badly because I was there for our appointment but the owner forgot about it although he did come later.  He apologized and said he was busy.  I chose Homecolor because of the reviews I read on Angie's List and because he was able to work on Sundays.

Sandblasting Services questions, answered by experts

Regular sealing and repainting help maintain the restored surface’s durability.

Sandblasting is a common method for removing paint. It works great if the underlying material is tough. This is because you can then use more abrasive sandblast materials, making the paint removal process much faster and less expensive. If you plan on removing many layers of paint on smooth surfaces, you’ll need to be more careful about which materials you choose to use to sandblast.

The cost of sandblasting depends on the scope of the project, the surface type, labor, and equipment required. Services typically cost between $50 and $80 per hour, though most professionals charge by surface area at a rate of $1.50 to $7 per square foot. Total project costs can range from $700 to $12,500, with an average homeowner spending around $3,200 to sandblast a 1,000-square-foot surface.

Soda-blasting systems are slightly more expensive than sandblasting systems. To soda blast, you’ll need to spend a few hundred dollars for a blast hose and nozzle, a compressed air supply, a blast generator, a moisture decontamination system, and sodium bicarbonate media, a recurring cost because the powder is not reusable. To start with sandblasting, you will need to spend upwards of $30 for a blast pot, a blast gun, an air compressor, and sandblasting media, many of which are recyclable—further reducing the cost. The total cost for either will depend on the size of the system.

The disadvantages of sandblasting are noise, mess, and risk. Sandblasters are louder than chainsaws and spread debris on the ground and through the air. Let your neighbors know that you're sandblasting so they can prepare. Sandblasting can damage your property if not done properly, so thoroughly vet any pros you talk to before hiring.
