"We are very impressed with Jeff and his crew. All measuring was done properly the first time around so that the shades fit perfectly. We were so happy with his work that we had him come back and do two other windows. Very professional yet friendly. One of the nicest things for me was that I had no cleanup to do when they were done. We would highly recommend them to anyone"
Retractable awnings not only create outdoor shade, but also protect interior floors and furnishings from damaging sun.
Have a large area that needs shade? Retractable awnings can create up to 40' of shade with a single retractable awning!
Why go from the pool to the air conditioning just to be comfortable? Retractable awnings in the pool area allow you stay cool when you come out of the water.

"Highly recommend Juan with Classy Restoration. I have used him twice. Once to re=paint bathroom cabinets. Hired a second time to repaint my cherry kitchen cabinets to a more modern white. They look amazing. Very professional, arriving on time and completing project in timely manner. Courteous and 100 % trustworthy in my experience. Would hire him again and highly recommend him! Beautiful work!"

"I had a total rebuild of a very large, challenging shaped screen room. I got several quotes, Southern Screen was significantly less expensive, very prompt work, professionally performed, I cannot say enough great things about this company. I usually only deal with people I know so I was a bit nervous but was more than pleasantly satisfied!"

"I contacted Jerry originally to replace a broken window in my vacation home but did not use him since I ended up replacing all the windows in the house. I then removed paneling from a wall inside the house and needed it to be drywalled and painted. Jerry made useful suggestions and also insulated the wall and matched the textured paint that he put on the wall to the other walls in the room. He did a great job. In addition, Jerry kept in constant contact with me since I was doing the renovation project remotely and there were no surprises with the work.I would recommend Jerry to any of my neighbors and friends.

"Not only were the Shivers kind and knowledgeable, they were FAST! I needed work done on my roof to renew my insurance premium and was on a time crunch. My call was responded to immediately, Mr. Shiver came out the next day to inspect the project, gave me a great quote and had his team member come out two days later. I really appreciate the quality in service and work, will definitely be using them again next time I have a roof issue."

Gazebos questions, answered by experts

Several types of porches are available to meet your needs and style preferences. Some common porch types include:

  • Porticos are essentially a roof over a walkway leading to the home's front entrance.

  • Sunrooms are closed-in porches that are an extension of the house with glass or plastic panels that allow optimal sunlight.

  • Wraparound porches extend around the entire home, or at least the front and one side, and offer multiple entrances to the house.

  • Back porches are an extension of the home’s floor into the outdoors. These offer more protection and privacy than a deck.

Log cabins are relatively difficult to maintain compared to a traditional house. That’s because log cabins require regular upkeep and care that can include refinishing and corncob blasting, a process similar to sandblasting that shoots ground-up corncob with compressed air.

Yes, many gazebos are permanent structures built onto the land. However, if you have a portable gazebo that isn’t secured to the ground, you’ll want to check the manufacturer’s instructions to understand when to put it away. Generally speaking, when it’s particularly windy or wet outside, you should take down your temporary gazebo.

On average, building or installing a gazebo costs around $5,700, with a typical range between $3,000 and $10,000. The final price depends on several factors, including the gazebo's size, shape, material, and design complexity. Material choice is a significant cost driver; for example, brick is often more affordable, while metal can be one of the more expensive options. Square-shaped gazebos can also be more expensive to build. Custom features, such as built-in seating or lighting, will increase the total price. You may be able to save money by purchasing a prefabricated gazebo kit or performing some of the labor yourself.

Using concrete footers is the best way to secure a gazebo on a deck without drilling. The weight of the footers is more likely to hold your gazebo in place than other methods. You can also pour concrete into flower pots to create an aesthetically pleasing concrete footer or use concrete columns to make a statement.
