"Robert has helped us for several house maintenance issues, from installing ceiling fans, unclogging our AC to managing our deliveries and much more, he helped us manage our rental properties. Robert is someone I can always count on, he is responsive, and incredibly helpful. He is very talented and always gets the job done. His professionalism and workmanship is second to none. If I can give a 10star I would. He is extremely knowledgeable about rental properties yet is humble and very friendly."

"Peter is a dream to work with. He was able to help upgrade the kitchen without having to start from scratch. He was there everyday on time (from prior experience this never happens). He’s done several projects at the house such as painting inside and out, new fence, faucet updates, tile, and most recently exterior updates. He has the ability to tackle just about anything and doesn’t mind the smallest of job (like replacing a fixture or fixing a leak). I’m grateful to of found someone to call on that I know will show up and do the work right!"

Fire Pit Installation questions, answered by experts

Yes, an electrical fire can start even if nothing is plugged into an outlet. While a correctly functioning outlet poses no risk, a fire can be caused by faulty wiring, damaged outlet components, an overloaded circuit, or other electrical problems hidden behind the walls. If you suspect a fault, immediately turn off the circuit breaker and contact a professional electrician to diagnose and repair the issue.

Attics often contain a mix of insulation, electrical wiring, and other materials that can pose fire risks. That’s why furnaces should be installed in the attic with proper insulation and clearance from combustible materials. Additionally, the furnace should be equipped with proper ventilation and heat shields to prevent the buildup of excessive heat in the attic space. Regular inspections and maintenance are also crucial to identify and address any potential fire hazards.

Yes, a faulty or broken light switch can be a serious fire hazard. Malfunctioning switches, often due to loose connections, exposed wiring, or overheating, can cause sparking or arcing. If you hear a crackling, popping, or hissing sound when you use the switch, it indicates live electricity arcing inside, which is a significant hazard that can ignite nearby flammable materials. If you suspect your light switch is faulty, turn off the power to that circuit at the breaker and contact a qualified electrician to remedy the issue.

Having a pellet stove can indeed raise your insurance rates since they're a relatively common cause of fires in the home. However, rate increases vary by insurance provider so you should reach out to yours to determine exactly how much your rates might increase with a new pellet stove install.

Most homeowners put a layer of compact sand or gravel at the bottom of their firepit, but you can also choose more decorative options like fire-resistant paving stones, bricks, or fire pit glass. Dirt by itself can even work, but other materials do a better job of spreading the heat around.
