"Robert has helped us for several house maintenance issues, from installing ceiling fans, unclogging our AC to managing our deliveries and much more, he helped us manage our rental properties. Robert is someone I can always count on, he is responsive, and incredibly helpful. He is very talented and always gets the job done. His professionalism and workmanship is second to none. If I can give a 10star I would. He is extremely knowledgeable about rental properties yet is humble and very friendly."

"Peter is a dream to work with. He was able to help upgrade the kitchen without having to start from scratch. He was there everyday on time (from prior experience this never happens). He’s done several projects at the house such as painting inside and out, new fence, faucet updates, tile, and most recently exterior updates. He has the ability to tackle just about anything and doesn’t mind the smallest of job (like replacing a fixture or fixing a leak). I’m grateful to of found someone to call on that I know will show up and do the work right!"

"Adel is an absolute master craftsman who completely transformed both of our bathrooms. If you are looking for a reliable, skilled, and affordable handyman for home renovations, look no further. Adel recently completed a full remodel of two of our bathrooms—one complete tub replacement and one custom walk-in shower installation. Here is why I highly recommend his services: * Flawless Bathroom Tile & Fixture Installation: The workmanship on both the bathtub surround and the walk-in shower is incredible. Precise tile alignment, crisp grout lines, perfect sealing, and clean plumbing fixture installs. * Affordable & Fair Pricing: Adel provided a clear, upfront cost estimate for the bathroom remodel with no hidden fees. High-end quality work at fair, competitive local rates. * Punctual & Reliable Handyman: He showed up on time every day, kept a clean work area, communicated clearly throughout the renovation process, and completed the project right on schedule."

Fire Pit Installation questions, answered by experts

No, you should never leave a fireplace burning overnight or unattended during the day. While fireplaces are made to contain fires, fires can and do spread from fireplaces, so it’s crucial that you’re there to monitor them and put them out if needed. If you’re worried about putting out a fire before bed, stop feeding it fuel long before bedtime and actively put out the fire using your poker, a shovel, and some baking soda.

There are several tools available to help prevent electrical fires. First, ensure that you have GFCI outlets installed in necessary areas, along with an AFCI, which is a circuit breaker that can help prevent arc-faults. Investing in surge protectors is also wise, as they can safeguard your appliances and other items against power surges that may overload your outlet and cause sparking.

You should have either an ABC or K-rated fire extinguisher in the kitchen. ABC fire extinguishers put out wood, trash, paper, plastic, and textile fires along with grease, oil, gas, kerosene, and electrical fires. A class K fire extinguisher is specifically rated for use in the kitchen and is designed to extinguish combustible cooking materials, including grease and fat.

A smoke alarm that beeps periodically, often every 30 to 60 seconds, usually indicates a low battery. The first step is to replace the battery. If this doesn't solve the problem, try resetting the alarm. However, beeping can also signal other issues, such as dust buildup in the sensors or the unit reaching the end of its life. Different beep patterns can mean different things; for example, multiple beeps might indicate an issue with a combination carbon monoxide detector, while a continuous, loud alarm means smoke has been detected. If a new battery doesn't stop the beeping, it's best to consult your alarm's manual, call a professional, or replace the unit.

Yes, windows being painted shut is a fire hazard. Because windows painted shut may have locks that stick or cannot be opened easily in an emergency, this becomes an immediate fire hazard that should be dealt with.
