"I was very pleased with the job Brayan did, painting our hallway. Even though we had the whole inside of the house painted last year, the hallway looked terrible. It drove me crazy for almost a year. I wish I had called Brayan sooner. He said it needed repainted. He gave recommendations on the paint to use for the best results and even purchased the paint before coming to do the job. Brayan even painted an extra wall that I had not thought about, and didn't charge me anything more than the estimate he had given initially. Brayan was very nice and professional. I will definitely use him for all my painting needs in the future."

"I recently hired this painter, and the results were excellent. They were professional, punctual, and paid close attention to detail from start to finish. The paint lines were clean, the coverage was even, and they made sure everything was protected and cleaned up afterward. Communication was easy throughout the project, and they completed the work on time. My home looks refreshed and beautiful. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for high-quality painting work."

Customers say: Quick response

"Rey really enjoys his job and explains the painting process in great detail when he comes to give an estimate. He is old school so cash or check. He gives a 2 year warranty on his work and the pricing was very competitive. We had outside painted and job was completed in 2 1/2 days."

"Summit Epoxy & Painting made the entire process easy especially the scheduling. I was able to book my exterior painting estimate directly on their website and choose a time that fit my schedule, which I really appreciated. From there, communication was clear and the project stayed on track. Their crew was professional, on time, and did thorough prep before painting. The exterior house paint looks clean and even, and the trim lines are sharp. Would book again 100%"

Interior Painting questions, answered by experts

The safest way to remove lead-based paint is by letting a professional take over. For most people, lead paint removal costs an average of $3,400. You should never attempt to dry sand old lead-based paint surfaces by hand. Most professionals use a paint stripper to do the job followed by wet scraping, but if you don’t want to remove lead paint, another option is to paint over it. Only consider this option if the old lead paint finish isn’t flaking or cracked.

Yes, vinegar can remove polyurethane from wood, but it is a slow, inefficient, and inconsistent restoration method. Whatever your intention, it’s best to avoid using vinegar on wood with a polyurethane finish—though it can be an effective cleaner for other wood finishes.

Professionals handle heavy lifting, proper disposal, and recycling, reducing environmental impact.

To fix bubbling paint, scrape away any loose or blistered areas using a putty knife. Lightly sand the surface to smooth out rough edges and create a level finish. Clean the area thoroughly to remove dust, dirt, and any residue. Once the surface is clean and dry, apply a quality primer suited to the material you're painting. Finally, repaint the area, making sure to work in proper temperature and humidity conditions to prevent new bubbles from forming.

You can apply stain over peeling stain, but it’s not a good idea. Your old stain will get in the way of your new stain bonding to the wood, so you’re likely going to see the same issue again shortly after application. Your best option is to sand off the old stain and clean the surface thoroughly before applying new stain.
