"Went very well. Larry showed up at 8:30AM as scheduled . Doors were very old, both screws and rollers on doors were odd size. Larry left and returned within an hour with the correct parts. He and his co-worker cleaned the slider rails and replaced the rollers. Doors now slide good as new."

"Very well! I had called a different A rated company the night before because they were still open when I found the problem after 5 PM. The other company sent out a tech who quoted me a price that seemed very high, so I called D&D based on a friend's recommendation. They set up an appointment for the next day. However, half an hour later, they called to say that a tech in our area had become available and would be out soon. Less than an hour after I called D&D, Luis showed up, saw what repairs were needed, and gave me a quote that was abut 60% of what the other people wanted. Luis had to go back to their nearby shop to get the needed springs and safety cables, then returned and had everything installed and working properly in under an hour even with me watching. Excellent service and happy customer! Thanks Luis!"

The difference between a mortise latch and a tubular latch is how they're mounted. A mortise latch has a single integrated lock body. One long rectangular space is cut into the door to contain it. A single keyhole is used to unlock both the dead bolt and latch from the outside. A tubular latch is a standard setup with a dead bolt separate from the regular spring bolt latch.

Look at the door from the outside, or the key side. If the hinges are on the left side of the door, it’s a left-hand swing. If the hinges are on the right side of the door, it’s a right-hand swing. You can also think of it as which hand you would most likely use to open the door from the outside when considering whether it’s a right-hand vs. left-hand door.
