"The windows and doors are wonderful. However the project took longer than promised.
I will say, the company does beautiful work with regard to installation and sealing of windows, doors and overall craftsmanship.. I've seen what other companies have done to neighbors houses and the work was sloppy and they actually damaged the house. That wasn't the case here!
I did have a few problems with our sales person Cary. I then I started dealing with Monica, the Operations Director, who got things done right and in a timely fashion..
Actually Cary, the windows which had to be changed at your cost of 1200 were windows that you ordered incorrectly and and were not the windows ordered according to the contract, so yes, I required the correct windows be installed."

"John promptly replied to my search for window covering installation and because the job was fairly simple, gave me a quote over the phone. Once my window coverings had arrived John came out the very next day and worked quickly, cleanly and professionally. If I could rate higher than 5 stars, I certainly would A+ service!"

Metal is one of the best types of hurricane shutters because they are the most durable and longest lasting option. This shutter type will likely cost more than other materials like plywood, but metal hurricane shutters are a permanent solution compared to the temporary nature of putting plywood over your windows during a hurricane. You should also consider hurricane panels and automatic roll-down shutters that are useful for emergency situations.
In most cases, custom window treatments are well worth the investment. Custom window treatments not only elevate your curb appeal and make your home more visually pleasing inside, but they also often do a better job of boosting your home’s energy efficiency than non-custom treatments, and they usually last longer. Plus, specialty window treatments can increase your home value if maintained well, so your investment is more worthwhile in the long run in most cases, too.
Hurricane shutters cost about $3,700 on average, ranging from $1,500 to 5,900, depending on the style, size, materials, and your location. Materials may include metal, plastic, fabric, or wood.
Additional cost factors to consider include the number of windows, the time of year you install, and necessary permits. Keep in mind that if you purchase and install hurricane shutters during hurricane season, namely June through November in most states, you can expect to pay more due to increased demand.
Window replacement costs between $180 and $410 per window, or an average of $280 per window. However, your specific replacement job could cost as little as $100 or as much as $750. Factors such as frame material, the number of windows you need, and the type of glass you order all impact the overall cost. For example, simple double-glazed windows will cost $3 to $6 per square foot, but the stronger tempered glass ranges from $12 to $14 per square foot.
Custom window treatments cost around $900 per window, and prices usually fall between $150 and $4,800. Your total will depend on many factors, including the type of window treatment, the amount and size of the windows, your home’s location, and the labor cost. Blinds and shutters tend to be the most affordable custom window treatments at $600 to $2,700, and the most expensive options are valances, drapes, curtains, and estate shutters, costing up to $3,000.
