"Nice, professional and would hire again. He came out right away. It took awhile to get the part replaced but He came his next available appointment. I would use again because of his honesty and reasonable price."

"Our experience with Brian and Maxwell of Fidelity Development was way above and beyond any we have had ever with contractors. We had three (3) projects that needed work: Two water leaks in our kitchen; repair work for a water leak in our laundry room; and re-plastering of our ceiling in our bedroom from a roof leak. These incredible gentleman are not only crafted contractors but are also talented designers. The detailed work they put in and the time amazed us. It always takes time to find a water leak but they did it like scientists, and only did what was needed to repair it. But, they also even recommended expanding our cupboard space after repairing the damage done and it is a fantastic addition. Maxwell and Brian are truly great men - not only craftsmen but also so kind, considerate and friendly and fun. We are so blessed to have found them and they are coming back next week to add accent walls in our kitchen. They came up with a beautiful design and we are so excited."

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

There are three types of pool filters—cartridge, sand, and D.E. (diatomaceous earth). Cartridge and sand filters are the most popular types and are affordable and easy to maintain. D.E. filters are more expensive and require more maintenance, but they are also very good at filtering out small particles.

You don’t need to drain the whole pool to patch a pool liner, but be prepared to dive in with your swimsuit and goggles to patch a leak below the water level. By draining the pool, you can actually expose the liner to more harsh conditions, like wind and sunlight, that cause the tears to worsen. It’s best to use the ink test and waterproof patches or tape to identify the leak and patch it up.

No, shock and chlorine are not the same thing, though they are related and both are used for pool maintenance. Regular chlorine, often in the form of tablets, is a sanitizer used for routine, day-to-day maintenance to keep a steady chlorine level. Pool shock, however, is a highly concentrated dose of chlorine used periodically for a more intense cleaning. It rapidly raises chlorine levels to fix issues like cloudy water or algae growth and also eliminates chloramines, which are byproducts of regular chlorination. Because their purposes and concentrations differ, they are not interchangeable, and proper pool care typically requires using both.

Yes, you should keep your pool pump running when adding salt, and leave it running for 24 to 48 hours. This will help circulate the salt to ensure even distribution. You will want to turn off your pool’s salt chlorine generator before adding salt and leave it off until it fully dissolves. Check your manufacturer’s instructions for steps specific to your saltwater pool maintenance.

You should add chlorine within 48 hours of filling your pool with water. In just 24 hours, bacteria and algae will begin to grow and contaminate your water. After that point, you’ll need to shock the water with high levels of chlorine, and you’ll likely need to do additional vacuuming to get the pool clean. It’s important to check your chlorine levels two to three times a week and add more chlorine as needed to maintain a healthy level.
