"Will definitely hire again for any fireplace needs. He was very helpful and explained everything we needed to know about our chimney and fireplace, including how to keep it in working order. He also replaced our chimney cap and seal quickly and without incident."

Customers say: Super punctual

"the heater went on the fritz and we couldn't use the fireplace for heat because the chimney had not been cleaned in a number of years. We were able to get an appointment for the next day, possibly because this was just before Christmas. The next morning they called and asked if they could come earlier than scheduled. The fellow who came out was friendly and professional, including calling in to check on how best to handle an oddity of our chimney. We were happy with his work and with his care for keeping the house clean while doing the job. We would certainly use this company again."

"Joe inspected my chimney and found the reason why we were experiencing a leak. He sealed the chimney, fully secured the chimney cap (which for some reason had been only partially secured when it was installed 34 years ago) and gave the chimney interior a visual inspection. Overall cost was $95 which I thought was reasonable. Joe was courteous and listened carefully as I explained the problem. He probably could have recommended that I replace the chimney cap, but he said it still had reasonable life left. I thought him to be professional and very honest. Now I know who to call if I have another problem with the chimney. I am pleased to recommend Tidy Sweep to anyone who needs their chimney serviced."

"Self installed is the only option. System works fine for the most part though we have had problems with the motion sensor cameras. Not that I have anything against FrontPoint, but if I were replacing system, I would probably go with Simply Safe now that they have cameras."

Chimney Liner Installation questions, answered by experts

Swimming pool liners are typically made out of vinyl, or you can commonly find PVC pool liners. These two liner materials are low-maintenance, making them easy to care for. Vinyl pool liners are common for residential swimming pools, while PVC liners are popular for commercial swimming pools. Both options are highly customizable to fit various sizes and shapes of pools.

Common problems include liner tears, pump malfunctions, and algae buildup. Regular maintenance prevents many issues.

Both above ground and inground pools can have pool liners. Inground pools made of gunite don’t need pool liners, and you’ve probably walked along an unlined pool and felt the ripples and ridges on the floors and walls. But adding a liner over gunite or other pool types helps protect the wall panels from algae growth.

Yes, small pool leaks are fixable with waterproof patches and sealants. It is always best to avoid draining a pool if you can, since doing so safely takes time, patience, and a whole lot of water to refill it. Larger pool leaks may require draining, but in this case, it's best to call in a professional.

You can find pool patches that advertise a quick curing time if you’re in a hurry (about three to four hours.) However, it’s best to let the area cure for about 24 hours before jumping back into your pool. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions that come with your patch.
