"The contracted the work off to a third party. Jon took longer than expected. The windows was installed pretty good from the looks. Communication could have been better with knowing the job will take longer and what types of trims I wanted for the windows. As the contractor that was hired for this job by this company. Did a good job with putting up decent trim. As for the new windows they look great. I purchased the myself and hired sentri homes to install them. I will need to have a my siding on my house redone to be closer to the new windows so the gaps are not so obvious. That was not expected at first. But from old storm windows and not knowing how they were put in originally. There was some unknown things that was learned from the job being completed. I will have the siding of the house slightly done to match really good for what I wanted later on. My only concern is better communication with sentri homes. Overall they were great when I did talk to them."

"Everyone at Solar Shield was very nice and professional. We had a few concerns when the moisture barrier was installed and we still had rain in our bedroom. Frank got it corrected the next day, and finished the roof the following week. The good news: very nice looking roof with no more leaks. The bad news: we got pictures of the hurricane straps installed and had the roof inspected by our insurance company. They found that the hurricane straps installed were not up to their standards and neither was the moisture barrier. They also found multiple slats (we didn’t have decking that covered the whole roof - old house) that were split and compromised during the work, so we were unable to qualify for any insurance discounts. Overall, we have a nice looking roof - top of the line from Solar Shield Industries. Hopefully, it will last a lifetime. But unfortunately, we have some decking remediation that needs to be done and we still need hurricane straps, which will probably be clips now. Not a big enough deal for me to raise a stink. I can retro clips and repair the few decking issues from the attic & under siding. And apparently, the moisture barrier is just not what the insurance company accepts as a “moisture barrier.”"

"I asked Little Huggies to mow the yard while we were on vacation for several weeks. They mowed the yard with attention to how it looked when finished rather than just rushing to get it do so they could be off to the next job. And I appreciate that! And it looked great. They also transformed our driveway that was way over due to be pressure washed into the cleanest it has ever been. And our driveway had a lot of algae build up. Their technique of careful application of chemicals so that they soak into the concrete before pressure washing works better than any company's process I have ever seen. And I've used a lot of companies with little satisfaction. Excellent job. I will certainly hire them again!!"

"Long story short,  John Keller Roofing is by far the best contractor I have ever hired for any job, period.  Price was competitive, the owner himself bids the jobs and warranties them, and the gentlemen (and they were) that installed the roof worked like a well oiled machine.  There were no mishaps or misunderstandings and the job was completed in a very short amount of time.  Please do not install a new roof without a bid from John!   You will be impressed.

"The vendor was very prompt to contact me to schedule the appointment.  When the two men arrived, they were courteous and got to work right away.  After finishing on the roof, they went into the attic / crawl space area to check one particular part of the roof to make sure there were no leaks.  They advised me they nailed down a couple of shingles that had flipped up, they re-caulked a couple penetration areas, and they let me know the palm tree on one side of the house was wearing down the edges of the shingles.  No other problems were found.  Overall, I was happy with the service.  My only suggestion or feedback (which I thought about after they left) . . . normally when a vendor does some work on your home, they show you before and after what they did.  Since this vendor works up on the roof, perhaps they could take a before and after photo on a mobile device, and then show you the photos, since you might not be able to get up on the roof with them.  A minor piece of feedback to be certain.  I would definitely use this company again.
