"We had issues with our old irrigation system after our septic tank was repaired. After calling several companies Patrick was the first to actually come out to look at the issues and speak with us. Several others gave a "Guess-timate" and said they didn't know when they would be able to get by. Patrick and his crew went through the entire system and had it up in running in no time. Pricing was fair and reasonable. Even after they did the work and I had additional issues Patrick did not hesitate to return and maker sure everything was correct and working. I would not hesitate to recommend Impressive Irrigation as they seem to be a very honest and professional company."

"I have never used Angi before for landscaping and they came out and thought that a French drain would be the best thing. They were very polite and courteous and they did a grate job. I would highly recommend them."

Removing the dead turf and testing the soil will help you determine what is killing the grass so you can make the necessary amendments to prevent the problem from recurring. Once you have made the appropriate adjustments, you can rake, fertilize, and reseed. If your lawn has many large dead patches, it may be more effective to remove all the existing grass, amend the soil, and start over from scratch.

If you use a starter fertilizer designed for this purpose, you can overseed and fertilize at the same time. If you opt to use a fertilizer for established grass or one with a weed control component, it's best to wait at least four to eight weeks after seed application to allow the new grass to take hold and establish itself.
