"I used Truly Nolan for my Termite Inspection when I purchased the home. They gave it the all clear. I hired them to do the pest control on my home and paid for the entire year. After that, I found drywood termites in the window seat and this year I found siginificant past termite damage in the walls of the master bath during a renovation. the walls and insulation had to be rebuilt. DON'T trust them with your most expensive investment! Since I had already paid for the whole year, I asked them to credit my account for the charge, and they refused. During the year, it routinely took 10 days for an in person treatment response, when pests were found, and they never eliminated silver fish, nor ghost ants (which became an infestation after 6 months, in spite of many calls for service on that front), nor Australian cockroaches. I have no pets and live alone, and keep an impressively cared-for home - which cars & walkers will regularly stop by to ask me & my visitors where I found the landscape accents, lighting, rocks, drain correction remedies, driveway treatment, walkway treatment, etc."

"Have called 3 times over the course of 2 days to set up an appointment. Was told by all 3 people that a manager had to call us back to line up an appointment for a termite specialist to come out and make an assessment. Was told by all 3 people that we’d be “moved up made a priority.” Have not heard from anyone at all. We called Wednesday, Thursday morning and Thursday afternoon. If a manager could actually get in contact with us, that’d be great considering we have a contract with you, otherwise we’ll be moving to a different company. This is ridiculous."

"Yup service tech came out saying he didn’t see mole cricket sings .said he couldn’t spray the whole yard even though I’ve seen the tunnels and dead ones in the driveway- he arrived about 4 hours after lawn was mowed and trimmed . Obviously didn’t believe me and he said he could spray perimeter. 3 1/2 minutes later he was done. Rcvd invoice and changed me for “lawn spray” for mole crickets. WTH terrible service after 7 years with this company"

Water your yard a little more deeply after a drought for about two weeks (while still avoiding overwatering). Continue to water in the early morning hours before 10 a.m. You'll also want to invest in some high-quality fertilizer to get more nutrients to your roots and help them grow back stronger and quicker. Look up your grass and soil type, or do a soil test, to see what type of fertilizer you need.

If your lawn has a higher pH than recommended for your type of grass or it looks yellow, sulfur can help. If your lawn is slow to grow and not very lush, it could also benefit from a  higher sulfur content. Sandy soil is especially vulnerable to sulfur deficiencies.

At its core, soil pH is a measure of how many hydrogen ions are present in your soil. In highly acidic soil (low pH), plant growth is difficult due to reduced microbial availability in the dirt.

In highly alkaline soil, plants may struggle to grow due to iron deficiencies. In either case, a lack of balance deprives grass or plants of some key nutrients they need to grow.

A pH reading of 6 to 7.5 is ideal for most plants. Slight acidity is, generally speaking, less of an issue than slight alkalinity. Many plants can still thrive in slightly acidic soil.
