It was not repaired 100% on the first try, however most of the noise is gone. I hear a plumbing job may require a different approach if the first one does not work, so that is where I am at now. Because other components were involved, a new solid state hard drive was put into a laptop with a working processor - same type CPU as in the failed unit.
