"I had a room converted to a gym room. Drywall was installed in areas where cabinets were removed. Baseboards were replaced. A new floor was put down. The room was also painted. I’ve had Kareem back for several smaller jobs including, replacing an indoor step tread, replacing a faucet, and other drywall projects that included walls and ceilings. However, if you’re DIYing the project, shiplap is less expensive since you won’t have to pay for labor. With drywall, getting a smooth finish is difficult unless you’re a pro. Shiplap is ideal for an accent wall or unique space, such as around a fireplace, since it adds texture and gives off a cozy vibe.

It is possible to apply plaster on the interior or exterior of your home, but we don’t recommend it. Plaster is easy to apply in theory, but in reality, it can be a challenging material to work with, and it’s difficult to get the finished product to look clean, even, and smooth. Hiring a plaster pro will cost more, but it’s usually the best option to achieve high-quality results.
