"Project was to replace decking, steps and railings on 12x20 deck and front porch. The crew was very careful during the removal and disposal of all of the old material and did an excellent job installing the new decking, steps and railings. They were very neat in their work, and cleaned up all their supplies without any mess leftover. "They did a great job at a reasonable price! They came on time, and were very careful about my items and landscaping as they were washing. The house had a lot of mildew on the siding, but after they washed it, it came out crystal clean. The concrete walkway looks great, as does the fence. They were very careful on my composite decking to make sure there were no streaks and it came out perfect, back to the original gray color like the day it was installed. The job was done quickly and well. They are very courteous. I would highly recommend them."

Cutting the boards directly is one of the fastest ways to remove deck boards with hidden fasteners. Mark two parallel lines that are one-third of the total measurement on both ends and cut out the centerpiece. Then, remove the end of the board that doesn’t have a fastener. Finally, pry open the fastened side and pull it up to pop out the screw or access the fastener. This also allows you to salvage portions of boards for other projects.
