"We had Arnold and his team repoint the mortar in the stone foundation of our old (around 200 years) house. They did a wonderful job and it looks fantastic. They worked quickly and were very personable. We look forward to having him back during the winter to fix the inside!"

"Chuck Stofko and Bill Anderson came to our house at no charge and started analyzing our issue. They even cut into some walls to identify the source of the odor. They quickly identified the problem was coming from the outside, which essentially took the work away from them. They took the time to discuss our options and even followed up in that they were looking for local providers to help out. I sincerely appreciated the honesty and quick diagnosis. I would absolutely do business with them again,"

"Budget Dry Waterproofing was great communicating appointments, the work to be done and the cost. The guy who came out to do the work putting in window wells at our house was very courteous and did the work in the amount of time estimated and explained everything clearly. I definitely recommend this company for your basement waterproofing needs and will consider them for any related job in the future."

"The gentleman who came to my home were absolutely great! Explained everything and made sure I was happy with the work every step of the way. I was nervous in the beginning but my fear subsided after Robert Charlesworth, Marcelo largo, Isaiah belcher and Johnathon Lopez made for a great experience. The attention to detail and dust control, tapping off areas they felt I wouldn’t want getting dusty exceeded my expectations! Thank you for your hard work and kindness. Trucks looked awesome new as well as tools and equipment. Great job guys!!"

"Very reliable, professional, and right price for the job. Amet(owner) was very easy to talk to and was straight to the point. There was no BS. The job was done in a timely manner and my patio looks amazing. They went the extra mile to make sure my backyard was cleaned after the job was finished. House Leveling FAQs, answered by experts

Polyjacking can be a permanent solution to sunken concrete if you also address the underlying issue—like poor drainage—at the same time. The polyurethane material itself can last as long as or even outlast the concrete you’re lifting it with. Your sunken concrete issue will likely return if you don’t couple polyjacking with proper drainage to prevent future soil movement and sinking.

A sinking foundation can be lifted, most often by installing piers to re-level and support the weight of the house. Depending on the cause and extent of the sinking, other methods to lift a foundation include underpinning and mudjacking. Consult a foundation repair pro to determine the best way to lift your sinking foundation.

Generally speaking, push piers—or steel piers—are the best option for underpinning, as they reach down to solid bedrock to find support for your foundation rather than relying on soil, which could be subject to the same issues as the soil directly below your foundation. However, the best underpinning method for your home depends on your location, how far down the bedrock is, and the type of soil in your area. Helical piers are usually the best option for sandy soil or in areas where the bedrock is too deep to use steel piers.

Mudjacking typically takes 24 to 72 hours (one to three days) to dry and cure completely before you can resume normal use. The exact time can vary depending on the size of the project. Because the slurry mixture contains cement, it must fully harden to ensure that added weight from walking, furniture, or vehicles won't shift the concrete slab. A professional contractor can advise you on when the surface is safe to use. For comparison, if you use polyjacking instead, the polyurethane foam can dry in just a few minutes, but it's best to wait about an hour before use.

Costs range from $500 to $1,500, depending on the size and condition of the area.
