"They really did look almost brand new once the work was done and the upholstery dried. They still had the beautiful "feel" they had originally - the "green" cleaning product clearly did not have an adverse effect on the fabric. One of the owners, Vincent clearly knew his stuff, was efficient, thorough, used good COVID protocols."

"Since moving into her home for years ago Iliana's cleaning service has been the only one we have ever needed. They are here if we need them in a pitch, They are kind and professional. Most importantly we trust them to be here when we are not so much so that we even bought a gift certificate for my mother to do her house. It was he favorite gift we ever got her. They do such an amazing job and we have a HUGE house. It has never been clean all at the same time ever unless Iliana’s Cleaning Service has come. We love and adore them and think of them as friends now. Thank you Iliana’s Cleaning Service. We look forward to seeing you soon! P.S. if you have never had someone come and do all your windows and clean your house at the same time Call them. You will not regret it."

Couch Cleaning Services questions, answered by experts

Clogged filters, malfunctioning sensors, wiring issues, and reduced airflow are common problems.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), no single water filter or treatment system can remove 100% of contaminants. To find the best filter for your needs, first determine which impurities are most important for you to remove. For example, reverse osmosis (RO) filters are highly effective at removing a wide range of contaminants, including sediment, heavy metals, bacteria, viruses, dissolved salts, and chemicals. However, the RO process can also filter out beneficial minerals like calcium and magnesium. If eliminating bacteria is your main priority, a UV filter could be a suitable choice. Additionally, distilled water is considered the most pure form of filtered water available.

Always turn off the power to your HVAC system before you remove the front cover to replace the air filter. If there isn’t an off switch, turn it off at the circuit breaker box. This prevents the risk of electric shock and stops unfiltered air from passing through the ductwork while the thermostat is running.

For washable or electrostatic air conditioner filters, you can soak and rinse them with water. If you rinse the filter with water, make sure to use a faucet, shower head, or garden hose with a gentle water pressure setting, as strong water pressure could damage the filter.

But for disposable filters, water could ruin the filter, even allowing mold to grow in the filter. Instead, these filters should be replaced.

Yes, a dirty air filter can cause a higher electric bill. That’s because clogged filters make it harder for air to flow through your HVAC system, which forces it to work harder and use more energy. According to the U.S. Department of Energy, replacing dirty filters can save you between 5% and 15% in utility costs.
