"Mull Brothers is great and i would recommend them highly.  They do not require a contract and charge by the service provided.  If you don't need a lot of service on your HVAC system it is the way to go.  They are professional and always did quality work

"I have the Total Mechanical Systems Total Comfort plan. It is wonderful I purchased the Comfort Plan when we installed our HVAC System. This is a great service plan for a reasonable rate. You get check ups on your HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.,You also have access to repair services, electricians, and plumbers at a discounted rate. Great overall plan to maintain your home or condo. Recently I had my annual Furnace/HVAC check up. The technician, Marquez, was professional, knowledgeable, and pleasant. Marquez really knew his stuff and explained to me how my furnace works and what the telltale signs are that I might need repairs. Fortunately I have not needed any repairs thanks to their great maintenance plan!"

Heating and Air Conditioning questions, answered by experts

If your drain line is clogged, your AC might stop cooling, shut down, or refuse to turn on at all. Otherwise, you might see your AC leaking water, find standing water or water damage near the unit, or notice a musty smell coming out of your air conditioner or vents.

Excessive humidity in a room often manifests through visible signs like condensation on windows or walls, a musty or damp odor lingering in the air, peeling wallpaper or paint, and the presence of mold or mildew. Experiencing discomfort due to a consistently clammy or sticky feeling can also indicate high humidity levels.

This is a bit of a trick question. Even though the seasons arrive at the same time every year, the weather doesn’t always behave according to the calendar. So, while it’s fair to say that you can expect to turn on your AC starting in late May or early June, it all depends on the outside temperature and how cool you like to keep your home.

Yes, you can run an attic fan with the AC on. In fact, you don’t have a choice with a passive attic fan. Plus, when an attic fan draws out hot air from the attic, it helps regulate the temperature of your whole home, so your AC doesn't have to work as hard.

To reduce AC startup power for a whole-house generator, install a soft start kit or hard start capacitor, which lowers the initial surge by gradually ramping up the compressor. Using a smart load manager can also help by staggering startup loads, preventing a system overload and future costly repairs.
