"Highly skilled craftsmen, excellent quality, extremely reliable and timely! I’m blessed! I was fortunate my architect suggested I try calling JD Building and Remodeling after several failed meetings with numerous contractors. Justin understood my vision right away and was patient with me as I learned the building and remodeling process. We worked well together; he was open to my ideas and was honest when they weren’t very good, but he also went above and beyond to make the good ideas happen. I truly appreciated his flexibility and creative approach in finding the best solutions to the many hurdles we encountered during the remodeling of a home that was difficult to modify. Justin and his team completed and extensive renovation and addition project with beautiful details that even I didn’t think of, or realize would be done in just 27 weeks; all while navigating winter weather, material shortages, long-lead times, and numerous examples of major price increases that we didn’t account for in the initial planning process. It wasn’t easy, but Justin and his team transformed our modest 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom ranch into a gorgeous 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom home with a new great room addition, new two-story oversized garage; new laundry/mud room, updated kitchen and hall bath, new bath, expanded and remodeled master bath; new windows, new siding, and managed and oversaw the installation of a new roof and gutters, all new plumbing and fixtures, new HVAC system, and pretty much all new electrical and fixtures. During the challenges of the COVID pandemic, no one can deny this is an amazing achievement.
