"Was very prompt to set traps to address my mole problem. Two moles were caught. He said he would return to set some more traps but I have not seen any new traps set. He said to call him if I see any more damage. I would have liked to have had a little more feedback from Doug."

"This was the second time I had used Pinnacle for a pest problem that I had and in both cases I was very happy with the work that Dave did. Recently I had a problem with carpenter ants and Dave came to my house very quickly, diagnosed the problem, and performed the necessary treatment. His price was very fair and he was a pleasure to work with. I would definitely hire him again if I ever have another pest problem (hopefully I don’t lol.)"

"The service was great, the price was competitive with the two other quotes I received. I am also a business owner and took note of how this companies technicians were professionally dressed and had brand new vehicles and equipment. Clearly this company invests to get jobs done properly.
My tenants worked odd hours and the owner and technicians were very accommodating to their schedules and made it very easy on me during scheduling.

They will be used again in the spring to treat ants at my home and properties."

Bird Control questions, answered by experts

To keep animals out, you must prevent them from entering. As long as they can get in, the problem will persist. That said, consider making your attic less inviting using deterrents like motion-activated lights or ultrasonic devices. Additionally, keeping a well-maintained, clean, and uncluttered attic that you regularly inspect for activity may make the space less attractive to critters.

Finding a dead bat in your home can be frightening, even during spooky season. The United States Department of Interior states that if you find a dead bat, take these steps:

  • Contact your state wildlife agency to report the finding

  • Photograph the bat safely to help the wildlife agency determine the species

  • Use disposable gloves to place the bat into a plastic bag, making sure to spray with disinfectant and close the bag securely

  • Thoroughly clean your hands and any clothing that came into contact with the bat

If you see one dead bat, you might have a large bat infestation that needs to be treated immediately. Call a local pest control company to properly inspect your home for other bats.

When it comes to keeping birds from doing their business on your porch rails, you have several DIY options and home remedies you can try:

  • Tie a fishing line from one end of the deck post to the other. Birds won’t be able to see the line across the railing, so they can’t land on it.

  • Hang wind chimes close by, which may scare birds away.

  • Apply a bird gel repellent to the railings, which contains smells that birds generally don’t like. Or, similarly, you can apply citronella or lemon oil around the railings, since birds don’t like strong smells.

You’ll want to call a licensed and insured wildlife removal company that offers:

  • Full property inspection—indoor and outdoor

  • Proper animal identification

  • Written management plan with follow-up visits included

  • Humane removal techniques

  • Preventative exclusion measures

If it’s an emergency and you can’t wait, you’ll need to contact an emergency animal control company near you.

Popular nesting areas outside of a home include eaves, porches, gutters, and chimneys. However, some birds can make their way into your attic or ventilation systems. A reputable removal service will inspect your home's interior and exterior for any evidence of roosting and nesting birds while they prepare to remove them.
