Small jobs welcome

"Glastonbury Chimney is a great company. I have worked at your house. The guys all knew what they were doing and did an awesome job and even cleaned our gutters. The owner brought his dog with his bear. He just played with his tire all day while the guys worked. I would highly recommend them."

"Project: repair chimney Alan and Joey arrived on time and ready to work. They did a great job installing two stainless steel flue liners, one for the fireplace and one for the gas furnace, replacing the furnace pipe connection, and neatly closing up the entrance to the chimney wall. Repaired the top cap, installed top plates to lining system and installed two rain caps to prevent water, animals and debris from getting inside. On the outside of the chimney, repaired and replaced seven bricks with new mortar. Repaired crown with crown seal and attached new flashing at roof. Waterproofed chimney. Cleaned up all debris inside and out Very personable and efficient team. I am very happy with the work done on my 50 year old chimney."

"The service technicians (plumbers in this case) were very professional, pleasant and thorough. The overall response of W.B. Dickenson was great, from first contact through HomeAdvisor to job done was ~4hrs. Considering this was an emergency hot water heater replacement I couldn't have expected any better."

"Julius is the best! Heâ s very knowledgeable and highly skilled in so many ways. He installed a gas fireplace in our previous home and did an amazing job. He worked in all our requests and custom tweaks. The unit added so much beauty and value to our home. Our current home as has a gas unit as well. Unfortunately, weâ ve had quite a few issues with it but Julius helped us resolve each one. Heâ s our go-to guy! This unit is impossible to service yet he always figures it out! Highly recommend!"

Gas Logs questions, answered by experts

Examples include gas stoves, ovens, and water heaters. Confirm with your provider for specific items.

Depending on the appliance and labor requirements, costs range from $150 to $500.

A few potential problems can cause your gas grill to stop working:

  • Burners aren’t properly aligned.

  • Food debris is clogging the burners.

  • Hose connections may be blocked.

  • Burners may not be getting enough gas.

  • Gas valve is not working properly.

If you’re experiencing any of those problems with your gas grill, hire a local grill repair professional to inspect your grill for issues and implement a plan to resolve them.

The most significant benefit of having a gas grill over a propane grill is that you never run out of fuel unless there’s an outage in your area, which is rare. Unlike with a propane grill, you’ll never need to haul tanks back and forth to a local fill station, and you’ll never find yourself unable to use your grill because you forgot to refill your tanks. Gas grills also burn slightly cleaner than propane grills, and natural gas costs significantly less than propane, meaning it’s more affordable to run your grill.

Built-in gas grills typically have a life span of 10 to 15 years. However, their longevity can vary based on quality, usage frequency, climate conditions, and maintenance routines. High-quality models made from durable materials tend to last longer. Additionally, regular cleaning, covering the grill when not in use, and conducting routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning burners and replacing worn-out parts can extend its life. A well-maintained built-in gas grill can provide excellent performance and memorable cooking experiences for a decade or more, making it a worthwhile investment for outdoor cooking enthusiasts.
