"I purchased an deal for $99 for 2 hours of labor.  Originally I intended to apply the time toward replacement of a shower faucet, but the same week, three gate valves in my basement began to fail.  Lew was very responsive and able to accommodate my schedule, and replaced all three valves with ball valves as well as the piping in the area.  I purchased an additional $150 worth of parts from Lew which are warrantied for a year.
What I appreciated most was Lew's evaluation of the shower faucet, which he looked at while he was at my house.  He pointed out that the faucet that I had purchased would not meet my long-term needs and made recommendations so that I could purchase (on my own) a model that would be better for me.  He also gave a very rough quote for the labor that would be required.  Lew could have just installed the faucet I purchased and waited until it failed in another year and installed another one and made twice as much money, but he didn't.  I'll certainly have him back again.

The well water consultant came out for a no charge water analysis and consultation, she reviewed the whole install with me prior to the technicians coming and answered all of my questions. The install went flawless the technicians explained how the system is maintained and what each unit was, they even returned 2 weeks later to retest the water and make sure that the system did everything that they promised (which it did). "Company did a good job last summer with 3 bay windows, so I called them back when the rest of the windows in the house needed to be replaced. On the initial visit, I told the rep that I wanted the same windows as last year. He quickly found the job order and picked up the details of the window make/model/etc without any need for me to reinvent the order. The company had the opportunity to try to upsell me, as I asked them about replacement of the skylight in the bathroom. Refreshingly, they declined to do so and told me that it would be much better to wait until we needed to get the roof re-done, and to do the window at that time. As before, the first guy clearly explained the process: guy 1 to take the order and measure the windows, later follow-up visit from guy 2 to remeasure all the windows carefully before ordering their construction, and then a couple of months later, a follow-up call from their HQ to schedule the install. He gave me an approximate window for this scheduling call. It was a pretty broad time-frame because there had been an unusually large number of people needing custom windows. As before, everything went off exactly as the rep indicated. The install team showed up within a half-hour of the estimated time, and installed 11 windows without taking a break. They removed every scrap of rubbish, vacuumed thoroughly, and left the place as clean as it was when they arrived."
