"Quote was reasonable especially considering the amount of rubbish hauled away. Arrived the day he promised and worked right through to complete the job. Took a LOT of stress away too as I'm not really in shape for heavier yard work anymore and was quite overwhelmed. Very happy!"

"Dominic quoted a price for a very extensive yatd cleanup and even when it turned out to take much more time than he had originally thought, did not charge me more - and he was very gracious too. The work he and his crew did was excellent and exceeded my expectations. He is very personable as well. I plan on using him again for all landscaping and yard work."

Leaf Removal questions, answered by experts

If the lead paint is in a place that is not easily disturbed and is not flaking or deteriorating, you do not necessarily need to remove it. Lead is toxic when dust particles or flakes from peeling lead paint are ingested. If people are not in the area with the lead paint, it may be safe to leave it in place. You still may want to consider encapsulation with a paint formulated for covering lead-based paint, just for an added layer of protection.

If lead is detected in a property, steps should include arranging for professional removal or containment, notifying all occupants, and implementing interim safety measures to reduce exposure.

Exterior paint contains a higher level of VOCs, which can be dangerous if you’re exposed to it for a long period of time. The good news is that paint’s toxicity reduces significantly once fully dried and cured. Do not keep open exterior paint cans in your home, basement, or garage, exposing your household to harmful chemicals over time.

Follow recommendations for removal or remediation to ensure a safe living environment.

Unfortunately, lead dust does not look different from any other type of dust. You cannot detect it with the naked eye. To determine if you have lead dust in your home, you will need to hire a local company to take a sample from the paint and test it for you in a lab.
