"M. Carlino quoted us $$ for labor based solely on pics requested. M. would not take a deposit nor send us a contract saying it wasn't necessary and that we were “on the schedule”. Weeks after the expected start, a crew member came to house to get sense of the job. Next day, M. Carlino called to say he underestimated the job and increased the quote by 50% telling us it could possibly be more and would “square up the final balance when the job is complete”. If M. is going to change his quotes based upon what crew tells him, M. should send them to do the bidding, or he should show professionalism and come to home to get a look at the job himself. We counter offered a 25% increase and M. Carlino coldly told us at the eleventh hour “Sorry, you will need to find someone else.” We lost precious time waiting for Carlino & Son but fortunate to find someone who wanted the business. We were right! It didn’t take as long as the up-charged quote. I would NOT recommend Carlino & Son."

They spent the last six weeks meticulously working on a multitude of projects to remodel and make improvements to the condo, which needed a lot of help and we could not have even begun to know how to handle it without Joe and his crew. They helped us to prep and paint all the walls, trim, install molding, and doors. They helped us open up a wall in the kitchen, take out and install a new kitchen, and managed the work of plumbers, electrician, and carpenter services. Joe helped us with designing the kitchen as well. I cannot believe the transformation! The condo looks beautiful, clean, brand new and totally updated. We are so happy with the outcome and the professionalism of Paintworks Plus. Highly, highly recommend.
