"Joe and his crew did a sod removal and rock installation in my entire backyard. They did exactly what I wanted done and did it in a very professional manner. I highly recommend Ape-Scapes for any project you need completed. They showed up on time when they said they would and went above and beyond my expectations. Additionally, their price was very reasonable and they even gave me a military discount. To all my veterans out there, this is the crew that gets the job done right the first time. HOOAH!!!"

"I hired Justin to hang Christmas lights and he did a great job. There was a misunderstanding about the cost, but other than that I was pleased with the job he did. I would recommend him!"

"Gary came highly recommended and immediately set me at ease with his approach and openness. While not the lowest cost provider, Gary and his team were well worth it. Because the job scope was large and we were in a time crunch, Gary brought in a couple of trim carpenters. Nate and Cory were excellent, great attitude, attention to detail and very easy to work with - I would also recommend them highly also.
The thing that I appreciated most was that Gary was always available on the phone and very responsive on follow up work. We had several items on the cabinets that needed to replaced/fixed. Doors that needed adjustments etc. Just call Gary and next thing you know, he has been in and out and the work is done!
He also has a great depth of experience, and part of that is knowing when to say no. Gary was always clear about what he does and does not do - this helped manage expectations - and we appreciated that.

"Roger, Chris and John of the install team did a great job. Arrived on time and worked tirelessly throughout the day. The crew kept me informed of each step of the demolition and install process and let me take pictures so I could send family and friends. My home is 40 years old so we had a plumbing issue. West Shore sent their top plumber to fix the problem. Sorry I don't remember his name. They finished in one day as promised, even though they had to work well into the evening because of the plumbing issue. I really love my new walk-in shower."

"Adam fit the DIY flooring project I was going to do myself -- and quickly realized that was a bad idea-- into his schedule. He kindly educated me about portions of my project, so I could complete the remainder of it myself, too. Great work, Adam! Thank you."

In most cases, professional organizers are well worth the investment. They often handle decluttering, which can take hours of work, and professional home and garage organization solutions that homeowners wouldn’t often think about. In many cases, homeowners will recognize the true value of a professional organizer during the weeks following the project’s finish when they use their new space and realize the improved quality of life that comes with convenient and thoughtful storage and organization.
The average cost to hire a handyman ranges from about $40 to $140 per hour. Average project cost ranges between $180 and $700, but the cost per hour and per project depends heavily on the type, size, and complexity of the project. The pro’s experience level and your location also factor into how much a handyman charges per hour or per project. You can also expect to pay higher rates or additional fees for emergency services, or around periods of high customer demand, like holidays.
Landscapers typically charge $25 to $50 per person per hour, which equals around $50 to $100 per hour for a two-person crew. These rates can vary depending on your location, the size of staff needed for the job, and overall job type. For example, a larger crew will be needed for structural additions and hardscaping versus planting flowers.
When it comes to landscapers, licensing laws vary. Landscaping architects are required to be licensed in all 50 states, whereas traditional landscaping contractors are not typically required to hold a certification. You’ll likely be working with a landscaping contractor for most residential projects. If you are redesigning your whole yard or adding in hardscape features, you will work with a landscaping architect at some point during the project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local landscaper guidelines.
As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification which include:
The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check
Required to have applicable state and local licenses
Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review
Paying to advertise their services
Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi
Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.
Professional organizers charge $55 to $100 per hour, with average per-project rates costing $510. If you need help with basic decluttering and organizing of your garage, expect to pay $200 to $700. On the other hand, major reorganization projects can cost $1,500 to $5,000, including installing shelves and storage solutions. Expect to pay more for professional organization help if you need specialty storage solutions, like cabinets and toolboxes for a workshop or a ceiling-mounted kayak or bike storage option.
