"I truly can’t say enough great things about this company. My wife and I had all but given up on getting our insurance to pay for all of the damage from a hailstorm last summer to our roof and siding. And then we met Steven (owner.) Not only is he an absolute pleasure to talk to, but he was the first contractor to offer to fight our insurance company. Everyone else pretty much told us to give them the check and pay for the rest out of pocket (it would have cost us over $30k.) I hired Steven and Elite Exteriors on a handshake. Not only did I pay nothing out of pocket, but the work was performed quickly, politely, and our home looks better than it ever did. We feel like we got a brand new home. You should apply at least two coats of paint to your project, but some surfaces may benefit from a third coat of paint. Ensure you’ve waited the right length of time before applying a second or third coat of paint, and try to apply it evenly for a cohesive finish.

The number of coats you need to apply when whitewashing a surface depends on how opaque you want the final product to be. If you're going for a transparent, barely there look, a single coat or two may suffice. For fuller coverage, you'll want to use multiple coats. Another option is to use a less diluted paint to get a thicker coverage. 

You’ll often have picture-perfect results by painting over the old color.
