"this part of it went well: they dismantled the old fan. they assembled the new fan and installed it. This part not so great: After the new fan was installed when I turned on the switch the fan made a humming noise (which the old fan made, too) and it is really annoying. I asked why it was making that noise. they said because the switch is old. I asked if they could change out the switch. No, they don't carry new switches with them. I bought a new switch at Lowes and called White Rhino. It would cost me another $79.00 for them to come out and install the new switch."

He went out the truck and brought in a new fan and mounted it. I did have the option of going out to buy a specific make and model vs their replacement one and then he would mount it if I desired.
