"This is pretty much as good as it gets without having the designer come to your house.  We received detailed recommendations for lighting, accessories, fabric types, window treatments, lots of good details in the recommendations.  The actual remodel changed the room, but most of the recommendations still apply.  I'm not sure about the prices of the items they recommend, but it does give you practical ideas for furniture you may already have or how to shop in a retail store, etc.

"I have two huge windows that I like to have window treatment. I am a bit concern order online. But the price is reasonable and I gave it a try. Man, it is worth it. The drapes arrived beautifully, more than I expected. It fits perfectly. The customer service was great. Mary, the person I worked with went extra miles to deliver the trims my wife wanted and turned out beautifully. After this, I ordered two more drapes from them. This is a honest company and I highly recommend it. They are professional and very dedicated to customer needs. Robert M. in Ringgold GA"

Shades of Amber was started in the year 2000 as an interior design business specializing in custom window treatments. Our business was founded on the principle that beautiful home design should be accessible to everyone. \n \nWe love to dream BIG. We love beautiful rooms, without being stuffy. We love understated elegance. We love creating a gorgeous environment for you to call home. And most of all, we love what we do. \nWe care about the details (some call us perfectionists, but we think that’s a good thing). It is that passion for detail and design that ultimately leads to satisfied customers. \n \nAs a husband and wife team, the key to our great working relationship is that we truly appreciate each other. With four children, we feel it is a privilege to work with our best friend everyday. That said, we ensure that we make a point of enjoying each day together – and we make a point of laughing a great deal, both at ourselves, and each other. If you can’t laugh… what’s the point?! \n
