Barbed wire, horse fence, pipe fence, high tensile, split rail, dowel rail, chain link, privacy picket, wood panel, jack and rail, chicken coops, and electric fence solar and standard. We also hand build and install custom gates. Rocky Mountain Fence was established in the spring of 2011, and the owner Jonathan Montoya, a Pagosa Springs native, has been building fence in Pagosa Springs and surrounding areas since 1998. We take great pride in our work and we aim to please. However, even more important than our work, is our customers who we value at the highest level. "We entered into a contractual relationship with this company and began to regret it almost immediately - Durango Fence and particularly the owner Tim Reinsch were completely unprofessional, inattentive to detail, unresponsive to phone calls and emails - sometimes for weeks at a time - and dishonest in their valuations - pulling the crappy contractor move of changing the quote after the deposit had been received. Had to take him to small claims court to recoup money that was owed us after terminating the contract (during which process Mr. Reinsch tried to play my wife and me against each other). He was unresponsive in emails, phone calls, and text messages and forced us to take him to court. I highly recommend you look ELSEWHERE and avoid dealing with such an unprofessional company."

If needed, we will ocassionally hire subcontractors to get the job done on schedule. If the job site distance exceeds 10 miles from the office there will be a $30 trip charge, which is due upon arrival. If hired for the project, the trip charge will be discounted on the invoice.

He completed all projects very well and is clearly a skilled handyman. The bed frame in particular was a lot of work, and he did an excellent job. I was glad I contacted him, and I highly recommend him."
