"Some positives, lots of negatives. The only positive was that they didn’t damage the furniture being moved or anything in the house. The negatives are lengthy…(1) They ended up charging me more than the quote. The person whom I made the reservation with told me that there was a one-hour minimum, and I’d then be charged on a pro-rated basis for each 15 minutes thereafter. The movers spent 1.75 hours, but insisted that they have a 2-hour minimum, and charged me for a full 2 hours. (2) They did not give me the hardware that they removed from the king size bed frame. Halfway through the move, I questioned the hardware (bolts, screws, etc.), and one mover told me that they would of course wrap up the hardware in a package and hand it to me before leaving. Amidst all of the chaos of the move, I forgot to check about the hardware before they left, but 4 days later, when trying to sell the furniture, discovered that they had taken the hardware with them, which rendered the bed useless. I contacted their supervisor, Dustin, (phone and text) who assured me he would get back to me after speaking with all of the movers on the job. Despite me writing him with a text hours later requesting an update, he never responded (now more than 24 hours later). This meant I needed to contact the furniture manufacturer to inquire about hardware, take measurements, and go to Lowe’s to purchase the stolen hardware myself. (3) My house smelled like cigarette smoke even after they left. (4) One of the movers assigned to the job was confrontational and unfriendly. Overall, it was a stressful move, exacerbated by additional stress afterwards due to the stolen hardware."

"I had been a client of Lifescape for 25 years. They did work for me at my home and then did a major project on my roof top garden. The roof top work included installing a mister system which for the most part never really worked properly and was been disbanded a few years after installed. Another part of the roof top was installing a drip system in 2008. They maintained the drip system over the years. I began to have problems with the drip system in 2019. Over the last two years after many phone calls, poor follow up and various repair visits, I determined I needed to put in a new system. Lifescapes did not even follow up with a new plan or estimate for a new system after promising to do so. Over the last two years I found them to be unresponsive, unprofessional and unwilling to provide service on their own work."

"Jorge Martinez came late on 8/7/20, and spent about 5 hours, much of which was removing mud from the valve box and then replacing one of the leaking valves. He then convinced me to buy 8 new water efficient rotating heads & put them on to try to take care of the patches of dry & dying grass. He asked for the pay for that day, promising to come back to finish the job the next Tues. 8/11/20 at 9:30 AM. As he left, he asked for & I unfortunately wrote him a check for $330 for that day, which he cashed almost immediately. He left his tools behind, but never showed up again. When I tried to call the number he left the first time, someone else answered who also works with a sprinkler system, but didn't know who Jorge Martinez was. I haven't heard from him since, & have since found more leaking valves & heads with the latest sprinkler company I called, and will have to go back to the spraying heads since the time needed for rotating heads and spraying heads is significantly different (which I didn't know at the time) and most of these new heads are on the same line as the spraying heads. He seemed like a nice guy & worked hard but I got cheated I think, and will need to spend more money to get the job done correctly. I tried to send you a picture, but couldn't get it from my phone to here--there is about 4+ inches of water in the valve box today (8/21/20) after it was emptied yesterday by another sprinkler company who came to give me an estimate."
