Customers say: Quality work

"I went on vacation and my husband shut off our sprinkler system to save money because he thought we were getting enough rain here when we were not, I returned home to our front lawn looking horrible. Cody helped bring it back to life in a very timely manner and it looked better then it did before!! He also got things ready for the winter for us when it came close to that time. We will definitely be hiring Integrity Exterior Services to redo our back yard this summer! Love doing business with an honest company!!"

"We hired Mountain Side to paint our condo interior completely and install wood flooring in place of the carpeting that was there. The painting was done with perfect continuity and it turned out fantastic. They made sure to our final walkthrough was done and they did touch up a few areas. The flooring project was amazing. Their attention to the smallest detail was incredible. They were on time everyday and very professional in their demeanor. Exceptionally polite and courteous with us. We’re actually going to miss seeing them everyday and would highly-highly recommend them for any home project you would be interested in."

"Arkansas River Valley Contracting did an amazing job on my new deck! I live in Manitou Springs and let's just say my place is "Manitou Typical", so John had some surprises pop up and had to problem solve on the fly. He was quick, efficient and upbeat despite these challenges. I would hire him again in a heartbeat!"

Land Clearing Services questions, answered by experts

Surveys completed by licensed surveyors can be recorded with a local surveying records office, and in most cases, they will be. Filing survey reports categorize them as legal documents, and they can be used whenever legal documentation of your property’s boundaries is needed. While you’re not required to file survey documents, it’s a good idea to do so.

Prior to excavation, you should prepare the dig site and call 311 before you sign anything.

To get your site ready for excavation, you should move anything in the area that isn’t affixed to the land. You can save money on the excavation by removing hardscaping, including walkways, decks, concrete patios, and paver patios.

Before you carry out any digging, you should call 311 to confirm that there are no utility lines running through your excavation site. Skipping this step could lead to severe injury and property damage if your excavator hits a water, sewage, or gas line.

A land survey defines and records the physical aspects of a property, including its boundaries, dimensions, easements, features, and sometimes topographical information. In contrast, a land appraisal determines the property's monetary value. While an appraiser will often consult a land survey to understand the property's physical specifications, the survey itself does not determine the land's value.

Land survey reports have a boatload of information relevant to several scenarios. Here are the types of information contained with a survey, though it depends on your chosen type of land survey. Exact boundaries and dimensions of a given property General topography, including both natural and artificial landmarks Location of utility fixtures, like water mains Confirmation of any easements or encroachments on a piece of property Assessment of land elevation to buy flood insurance Updated information to add to a pre-existing property map

A land survey includes the layout of a single property, including precise measurements and to-scale drawings of boundary lines, land improvements, and sometimes other features, like topography and drainage information. A plat map includes the layouts and boundary lines of several adjacent plots and basic structure measurements. Surveys are normally more valuable for homeowners and buyers, and plat maps are for governmental use.
