We offer a vast selection of carpet, hardwood, laminate, luxury vinyl plank and tile at mill pricing AND all conveniently brought to YOUR door! We are owner operated and very competitive in pricing because of our low overhead. We have been selling and installing flooring in the mountain and front range areas since 2008, but our service area is the entire State of Colorado. Carpet brands include Shaw, Anderson Tuftex and Anso Caress Nylon, Mohawk Silk Smartstrand, Stainmaster, inclusive of specialty carpets such as wools, both in residential and commercial flooring. In bringing the showroom to you, A Floor For You is able to immediately provide the exact measurements, floor selection and a competitive quote in just one easy visit. Call us today to schedule a free estimate!

"We contracted with this company to complete a simple project of finishing the stairs to our basement as well as removing the carpet on the stairs from our main level in our home to the second level of our home and finishing them as well. All with the same existing product (an LVP) already installed on the main floor of our home. The owner, Tiffany, came out and took measurements for the free quote and found the product we needed. On install day, the workers informed us the product we had already paid for (about $1,800.00) was not made to fit the stairs we had. We were given the option to modify each stair (both significantly increasing the labor cost and making them out of code) or find a different product. Then we were informed that there was no way to return the already purchased product as it was no longer produced. Tiffany came to our home, took measurements of what we needed, had us order product that would not fit, and then basically told us we were out the money. There was absolutely no explanation or negotiation and from the onset and I have yet to be able to communicate our frustration with her since she does not call me directly (she communicates through our contractor), her voicemail is full, and she does not respond to text messages. Instead of understanding the product limitations before having us order it, Tiffany blindly chose a product that was useless given the measurements she showed up in person to make. Then, instead of helping us find a suitable compensation other than throwing away money, she left us out to dry and basically told us we were SOL without communicating it. It has been the worst consumer experience I have ever experienced and I have had some difficulties in the past. I have nothing but good things to say about Tiffany’s workers as they were respectful and obviously frustrated with their employer’s mistake. Now I am stuck with unfinished stairs and unusable product taking up space in my garage."

Popular features homeowners add to their game rooms include pool or ping pong tables, arcade machines, home theater systems, gaming consoles, custom lighting, and built-in storage. Many homeowners also add soundproofing, mini-fridges, or wet bars for added comfort and entertainment value. These features will increase your total investment, but make your game room more enjoyable and functional.

You typically aren’t in any immediate danger if your floors are sagging, but that doesn’t mean you should leave them unattended. Sagging is likely a sign of underlying problems with the structure of your home, such as uneven subflooring or rotting joists. Have your floors inspected by a local carpenter as soon as possible to help you determine the type of repairs needed.

The type of flooring you plan to install will determine if it goes in before or after the cabinets. It's okay to swap the order in many cases. However, hardwood floors, sheet materials, and tile often go down before the cabinets go in. Floating floors like laminate or luxury vinyl planking should go down after the cabinets are in place.

Whether or not transition pieces go under the baseboard depends on a few different factors. If the transitions are being installed with the flooring and before the baseboards, then they will go under the baseboards. If the baseboards are already installed, then it depends on whether or not you want to remove them or undercut them. If not, the transition pieces can butt up against the baseboard.

The fastest way to remove carpet is to remove carpet in strips instead of trying to remove it in one large piece. Wear protective equipment such as gloves and goggles, use a utility knife to cut the carpet in long strips, and then pull at the edge of the strip to loosen the staples or glue. Carpet-cutting razor blades are best on your utility knife for the quickest removal.
