I used Jorge for a major remodel a couple of years ago and he is solid. He knows his stuff and he does everything to perfections. By everything, I mean kitchen remodel, windows & doors, flooring, paint, etc. Bonus service: At the end of every day, Jorge cleans up and leaves you a nice, neat construction site. It helps. I'm about to remodel in my new place and Jorge will be my guy.

On 7/29/13, I called the provider and left a message about a repair/remodel of the bathroom. Mr. Romo returned my call the same day. After discussing the job in general and my need to have the work done as soon as possible, Mr. Romo said he would be happy to give me an estimate but that he would not be available to do the work until after August. I didn't want to waste his time, so I thanked him for calling me back and hung up. I appreciated his offering to do the estimate anyway and for returning my call. I would call him again in the future.

I purchased an 1880s era Victorian style home in Denver's Baker neighborhood. The house had "good bones" but had been subdivided into apartments at some point in its existence, and I wanted to restore it to a single family home. On the recommendation of several friends who had worked with Romo Construction, I hired Jorge (the owner of Romo Construction) to do the work. The short of it is that I am extremely pleased with work that Jorge and his team carried out. The remodel of the kitchen involved eliminating and old stairway, installation of completely new cabinets and counters, new appliances, construction of an island for the stove, creation of a breakfast nook (this included creating a built in table and seating), new hardwood flooring and a remodel of the remaining stairway. The remodel of the master bath included new cabinets, a new shower, a new tub, and the construction of a walk-in closet. There was a lot of tile work and Jorge and his crew did a magnificent job on this. Inevitably, this being an old house that had undergone remodels in the past, difficulties arose that were not anticipated in the designers plans. For example, a structural column in a wall that was to be taken out. Jorge dealt with these with creativity and skill. Also inevitably, a few things were not quite right at the end of construction. For example, the kitchen nook table was a little wiggly. Jorge recognized the problem (before I did actually) and came back and redesigned the table support to fix the problem. If I had one quibble it is that Jorge's work is much in demand, so one some occasions I had to wait a few weeks the work to start. Since the major work, I have hired Romo Construction to do several other smaller remodel and restoration jobs: repair of old plaster walls, installation of electrical and light fixtures, etc. I have been very happy with the results. Jorge makes sure the job is done right.
