Small jobs welcome

"I wanted a covered patio, but didn't want to have a permanent structure, so I hired Night Crew to assemble my new gazebo. They were very professional and got the job promptly. I mentioned that I wanted string lights hung, and they offered to do it for me. They listened to how I wanted the lights arranged and did it perfectly. Not only did they assemble the gazebo for me, they installed Ring Cameras around my house. They also installed a switch for my attic fan that I love because it saves me money, but it's too loud (sounds like a helicopter on my roof) and it makes sleeping hard for me. Now I sleep peacefully thanks to them. I'm safe and secure and I enjoy my peaceful home. Cheers!"

"I live in an old duplex, and I hve a couple of closets where the frames had deteriorated to the point that the doors literally fell off the hinges. Brennan did a fantastic job of reinforcing the frames and rehanging the doors. He accomplished my project quickly and for a reasonable price. I would definitely call on him again!"

Customers say: Terrific value

"Very good,. He was a little slow in finishing the job but didn't charge extra for the agreed upon price. He took a bad storm door back to Lowe's and exchanged for a good one. Didn't charge me for the trip."

"Service was excellent. The price was more than fair and work was completed the same day. Repaired fence and assembled patio furniture. Returning to set up garage shelving. Referred him to my neighbor to refinish her patio. Very satisfied."

Gazebos questions, answered by experts

To make the gazebo accessible, you can build a wheelchair pathway leading up to it. The path should be paved with a smooth surface for wheelchairs to roll through. A low curb should be placed along each side to ensure the wheelchair stays on the path. At the end of the path, build a wheelchair ramp connecting the gazebo.

Common materials include wood, vinyl, and metal. Wood offers a classic look, while vinyl and metal are low-maintenance options.

Fascia and soffits differ in their location and design, but fascia vents are the most popular alternative to soffits. These are a bit more hidden than soffits, but depending on the structure of your roof, they can cost more to install and maintain. They are also installed around the entire roof, whereas soffits can be placed only where you need them or, if the aesthetics bother you, somewhere out of sight.

The average cost to build or install a gazebo is around $5,700, with prices typically ranging from $3,000 to $10,000. The final cost depends on several factors, including the gazebo's size, shape, material, and design complexity. For example, square gazebos and those made from metal can be more expensive, while brick is a more affordable material. Adding custom features like built-in seating or lighting will also increase the price. You can potentially save money by purchasing a prefabricated kit or performing some of the labor yourself.

Porticos last 25 to 60 years, depending on the material used. A portico’s roof typically matches the roof of the rest of the home and can be replaced simultaneously. Portico columns have a similar life span if properly maintained and regularly sealed. In some areas, harsh weather and extreme temperatures may cause a portico to wear more quickly.
