"Trustile called almost immediately after I submitted for quote and then came out the same day to provide the quote. Laid the tile two days later and grouted the day after that. They did what they said they would do when they said they would do it and they did it very well for a reasonable price. Just really nice and competent folks. I’d recommend these guys anytime."

"Nik helped us install a kitchen backsplash that we ran out of steam to complete ourselves. He was punctual, a good communicator, and the job came out looking great. I'm pretty picky about how I like things to look and I'm happy with the outcome. I felt his cleanup at the end could have been a little more thorough as I had to cleanup leftover grout and splashes on my cabinets."

Grout Tile Cleaners FAQs, answered by experts

Professionals remove deep stains, sanitize surfaces, and restore the original appearance of tiles and grout.

No, grout haze will not go away on its own and needs to be removed as soon as possible after installation to preserve the beauty of your new tiles. If left too long, grout haze can leave a permanent film on newly installed tiles, leaving them dull and cloudy.

Before you begin caulking a shower, you’ll need to use a utility knife or solvent to remove the old caulk and inspect the area for mold. If needed, take appropriate steps to get rid of the mold, then wipe everything down with dish soap and warm water before letting it dry completely. Finally, surround the caulking area with two strips of blue painter’s tape—one above the joint where you’re caulking and another below it.

You can test whether your grout needs to be sealed with a water droplet test. If water beads up on the grout’s surface, it’s likely been sealed (or might not need to be). On the other hand, if the water gets absorbed or causes the grout to darken, then it’s time for a fresh grout sealing.

Yes, you can reseal grout regardless of its age. What matters is its condition: If you’re unable to clean or repair it effectively, sealing the grout will not restore its look. In cases of cracked or damaged grout, you’ll need to repair or replace it to ensure your tiles don’t shift around and create a safety hazard.
