"Highly recommend Edgar and his crew with AYR Lawn Care & Landscape LLC. He communicated well prior to arriving and arrived exactly when promised. They cut and edged my grass, trimmed trees and bushes, pulled weeds, planted flowers, cleaned up old leaves, cleaned out my gutters, and more. They were quick and thorough, leaving my property looking great! Will definitely do business with them again."

"I recommend Nature’s Lawn Care to anyone I know! I’ve been using this company since 2022 and because of them my home won “home of the week” many times by my HOA. Some services I’ve had done is: lawn mowing, changing sprinkler heads, weed control and spring clean up. They offer more services as well. If you are looking for a company that is reasonably priced and offer great results, I recommend Nature’s Lawn Care."

Small jobs welcome

"Finding a reliable landscaping expert can be overwhelming with so many options and no guarantee of results. We needed someone to clear overgrown weeds, remove unwanted trees, and lay fabric and mulch, a daunting task. I found Flores Construction on Angi and quickly requested a quote. Jose called right away, came out for a walk-through, and gave clear recommendations based on our goals and pricing. He provided a prompt, detailed quote and scheduled the work without delay. Jose and his team finished everything in just three days, work that would’ve taken my husband and me over a month. Throughout the process, Jose explained each step, made sure our expectations were met, and adjusted pricing fairly when unexpected tasks came up. I was able to go about my day normally and know they were doing good work. We were extremely pleased with Jose and Flores Construction. Knowing they handle more than landscaping means we’ll definitely call them for future projects. Highly recommend!"

Landscaping fabric can only help to prevent weed growth in the short term. It's not an ideal long-term solution because dirt will eventually make its way on top of it, causing weeds to sprout. These fabrics can also leave microplastics in the environment for many, many years, so pulling weeds using one of the methods in this guide as soon as you see them is a better long-term prevention strategy.

Like sugar, the common household staple baking soda has uses in the yard. Baking soda boosts your plants to resist pests, fungal growth, and more. So, baking soda is good for your plants in certain instances, but exercise caution, as using too much could kill your plants. It’s great for hunting for pesky weeds, but not great for tending to a sensitive garden.

Yellow patches, poor growth, or widespread weeds indicate a need for treatment. Soil testing can confirm nutritional deficiencies that require intervention.

There are several ways to kill poison ivy permanently. The trick is to keep it from coming back. Herbicides and natural remedies are highly effective for killing existing poison ivy plants. However, plant and root parts left behind can easily create new sprouts that turn into full-grown plants. The only way to permanently get rid of poison ivy is to be patient and diligent until all traces of the plant are dead and gone.

Look for a broadleaf herbicide, one that has been formulated specifically for dandelions and is considered grass-safe.
