"Before I used Home Advisor--I did a quick google search for a handyman in the Durango, CO area. I called a company and set up an appointment to check why my garbage disposal wasn't working. This company, without checking out the disposal said I should go ahead and purchase (or reimburse) them for the new disposal. Fortunately for me, they missed the appointment I had set up and I was spared having to buy a new disposal without them checking it first. My second attempt to get the disposal fixed was successful. I used Home Advisor--saw David Donovan Plumbing and booked an appointment. I got a call right away and the appointment I choose was finalized. David Donovan went to inspect the disposal--found the reset button and was able to get the disposal to function, without me having to purchase a new one. I would use his company again for all future home repairs. Very professional and reasonable rates."

"My old water heater went out yesterday and of course leaked water all over. I shut it off and stopped the leaking. Called early this morning looking for someone to install a new one. Jim was actually sent over by another plumber who could not get to my job right away. Jim showed up, looked at the job, we talked about the options and he gave me a bid. Let to get the new water heater. We back in about thirty minutes. He had to make some changes to the water and gas lines. Added shut offs and installed new one. Took the time to explain operation and maintenance of the new one. Cleaned up the work site. Removed all debris and old water heater. I was impressed with his work and his attitude.

"Our technician, Dameyan Jackson, called the night before the day of service to let me know the time that he would be here to service our system. On Friday, he called to let me know that he was available to come earlier than scheduled, if I would like. He arrived shortly after the phone call, came in and quickly recognized that the pump had failed. He was very knowledgeable and professional. I was very pleased with his service and look forward to him returning to install a new pump."
