"Not upholstery, one of the doors on a double door bookcase was damaged. They were able to come to my home and try to fix it here. The wood was split and the frame was bowed, so they were able to remove the door and take it to the shop to repair. When it came back you couldn't even tell it had been damaged! They were great working with my schedule both times!"

"The Job was professional, very detailed. I’m very picky, but Steve took the time to listen to me, showing always pacience. At the end of the job, he asked me if I felt satisfied or if there was something else he could do. My couches look excellent now. I definitely will hire this company again."

"Service was excellent. The price was more than fair and work was completed the same day. Repaired fence and assembled patio furniture. Returning to set up garage shelving. Referred him to my neighbor to refinish her patio. Very satisfied."

However, you should avoid wrapping wooden furniture in plastic if you plan on storing it, as plastic can trap moisture and warp the wood, plus it may damage certain finishes. In either case, old blankets or moving blankets make excellent alternatives. For protecting delicate glass table tops and mirrors, bubble wrap is always a reliable choice.

Depending on the quality of the leather, this type of upholstery can last anywhere from 5 to 20 years. The more time you invest in the care and protection of the leather, the longer your leather furniture is likely to last.

DIY upholstery is feasible for simple pieces with the right tools and skills, though intricate jobs typically require professional expertise for the best results.

If your couch is damaged, you are not out of options. You might try fixing it on your own, bring in a furniture repair specialist, or opt to get rid of it responsibly. Depending on its condition, you could donate, sell, recycle, or drop it off at a local scrap facility.
