"Steven was super nice and friendly. The rolling table for my laptop was assembled quickly and done right. I didn?t realize it was an adjustable desk, so I decided a higher fee was appropriate. I will definitely hire him again for my next project."

Small jobs welcome

"We had Juan do some pretty extensive deck repair and replace a fluorescent light in our kitchen. Just before he was ready to work on the kitchen light, we changed our mind on what we wanted installed. Juan took all that in stride and we worked out the schedule. And the work on both the deck and the lights look GREAT. We have a couple of other projects in mind and are definitely calling Juan when we are ready to get them done."

"Will and his team were great. It was easy to coordinate a time to meet for an estimate via text. We discussed my project and he was fair and honest regarding the work that would be needed. My project was to replace the ten standard door and one bi-fold doors in my home with six panels equivalents. My home was built in the 70's and each door had its unique quirks and challenges for Will and his crew to overcome. They completed my project with exceptional quality and craftsmanship. I will hire them in the future for additional home project needs."

"Yes, Niles was great! installed a new stainless steel sink for us. Had to widen the hole and it fits perfectly. New connections and no leaks! Will be calling Nile’s again for some other work around the house. 😊"

"There are a couple of ways to get this faucet that we needed to remove. This man did things right, all five pieces of tile removed stayed intact, he was very astute about getting the old minerals off, was very through with the assembly of the faucet (trying to keep it low) and finally he assembled the rest of it so it could be done all at once. I would highly recommend Steve. He’s a keeper."

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

Completing pool construction and installation adds significant resale appeal for buyers seeking an active outdoor lifestyle. In Denver's luxury real estate market, a pool is an expected amenity. Because the swimming season only lasts from June through September, buyers consider heating systems a strict necessity rather than a luxury. Install solar or gas heating infrastructure to maximize your property value, and remember that this addition will increase your annual property taxes.

Helpful?

When planning pool construction and installation, account for the expansive bentonite clay soils found throughout CO. This soil swells and shrinks, requiring a professional geotechnical report before excavation begins. You must also install a backflow prevention device on any fill line connected to municipal water. Finally, prepare for strict stormwater management regulations, which dictate that you dechlorinate all water before draining your pool into local storm systems.

Helpful?

To maintain your pool after pool construction and installation, keep scale-prevention and removal supplies ready to handle Denver's hard water. You should also have a durable pool cover to protect surfaces during sudden summer hailstorms. Because CO experiences significant freeze-thaw cycles, keep winterization tools like expansion plugs and air compressors on hand to blow out lines and prevent ice damage. Finally, stock up on chlorine, as high-altitude UV rays degrade chemicals quickly.

Helpful?

After pool construction and installation, monitor your property for soil movement indicators. Cracks appearing in the pool shell, deck lifting, or misaligned gates signal severe bentonite clay shifting. Water loss exceeding standard evaporation rates indicates a subsurface leak, which saturates surrounding soil and accelerates structural damage. Additionally, spalling plaster or shifting waterline tiles after a Denver winter reveal freeze-thaw damage that requires immediate professional repair to prevent deeper water infiltration.

Helpful?

Start your pool construction and installation planning in late winter to account for lengthy permit processing times. You must secure structural, electrical, and plumbing permits, along with a separate backflow permit. Contact local utilities to locate underground lines before excavation. Because CO enforces strict barrier laws, include fencing with specific gate latch requirements in your initial design. Finally, secure written approval from your homeowners association before submitting any applications.
