"I highly doubt I will ever call another landscape, flatwork, fencework, stonework, or paving company ever again. This team is UNREAL. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. Without hyperbole, five stars is not enough in any review category. They are remarkably fast, PROMPT and EARLY, completely professional, friendly, courteous, charming, respectful, understanding of budgets and aesthetic preferences and eccentricities ... these guys are all of it. The team at Denver Patio and Landscape quoted, started, and completed our project in such a ridiculously short time I STILL have other contractors calling to see if I am interested in a quote. They are operating in a different league than everyone else in Denver I have experience with. EDIT - I have now hired these guys twice. Same 5-star experience. Second project was for concrete. I cannot recommend these guys enough. Hire these guys, I know I will again. You will not regret it. They are awesome."

"Peter and his crew overlaid the asphalt in a parking lot at the new location of the Denver Museum of Miniatures, Dolls & Toys at 830 Kipling. Peter and his crew did an amazing job. The parking lot was in very bad shape. But they removed damaged asphalt, milled it down, filled holes, dealt with Kipling traffic and overlaid the asphalt; blending it into the sidewalks and adjacent patio. They completed this efficiently and carefully. Stop by and take a look. I highly recommend 5280 SealCoating for all your paving needs!"

"Can we take a moment to appreciate how rare it is these days to find a company that delivers exactly what they promise? Natural Landscape was fantastic from start to finish. Their communication was top-notch—they kept me informed throughout the project, followed up when they said they would, and were always quick to answer questions. I never once felt like I was wondering what was happening or what came next. And the work? Absolutely beautiful. The crew was professional, hardworking, and clearly cared about the quality of the final result. The attention to detail exceeded my expectations, and I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. What impressed me most was that they didn’t just do great work, they made the entire process easy. In a world where customer service sometimes feels like a lost art, Natural Landscape knocked it out of the park. Worth every penny. I would hire them again in a heartbeat and recommend them without hesitation."

Paving Services questions, answered by experts

There’s no single best asphalt grade—it all comes down to where and how it’s used. Highways and heavy-traffic roads need something tough, like polymer-modified asphalt (PMA) or Stone Matrix Asphalt (SMA). Local roads and parking lots rely on the Performance Graded (PG) system, chosen based on climate. A PG 64-28 mix, for example, handles a broad temperature range while simpler, more cost-effective mixes are typically enough for residential driveways. The best grade of asphalt depends on traffic, weather, and your budget, which is why a professional’s input is always a smart move before making a decision.

A 500-square-foot driveway can cost anywhere from $5,000 to $35,000, depending on the type of pavers you choose. Grass and concrete pavers are more affordable, while stone and cobblestone pavers are on the higher end of that price range. You’ll save some money by DIYing the installation, though we highly recommend sticking with a professional for this type of driveway installation.

While some areas may allow for a slope of up to 20%, this is often the maximum slope for driveways, with a few exceptions of up to 25%. Other regions may have a maximum of 12%, 15%, or 18%, so check with your local building department to ensure you’re laying a driveway that is up to code for your location.

Compared to a 10x20 concrete driveway costing between $800 and $3,000, a resin bound driveway of the same size costing $3,900 to $4,000 is the more expensive option. However, the cost still makes resin a cheaper option compared to a 10x20 paver driveway costing an average of $12,000.

Generally speaking, tiles are for indoor use, while pavers are for outdoor use. The main difference between travertine tiles and pavers is their thickness. Tiles are around 1/2 inch thick, and pavers are 1 1/4 inches to 2 inches thick.

Pavers are more rugged and can handle different weather. The extra thickness on pavers also makes them ideal for high-traffic areas.
