While common during peak cold days, frequent icing inside your storm door points to excess moisture being trapped between your entry door and storm door. In most cases, this can be fixed by updating worn weatherstripping or addressing gaps that are allowing warm, humid air from your home to get into the space between the doors.

You have a few options when trying to fix a misaligned door hinge. Tighten the hinge screws first. If you see the door is sagging, then you might need longer screws in the door hinges.
