Woodpecker Workshop, Inc. is a family owned and operated business based in Garfield County since 1974. Through the master carpentry skills of Bob Layman and his wife Mary, Woodpecker Workshop, Inc. has created high quality furniture and dwelling projects for over 28 years.
"Bob is always great to work with! He is punctual, easy to work with and extremely meticulous! The backsplash he completed for us after the granite countertop was placed is amazing. He takes his time to do it right. And I might add he is great at cleaning up when he is done! I highly recommend Woodpecker Workshp!"

"I would leave -5 if I could. I was promised that I would get a Key Fob COPIED and PROGRAMMED. However this did not happen and I was still CHARGED $150 even though not every part of the agreement was met. Besides being talked down to the whole transaction, and AFTER the whole programming process failed, I was then also told that if I returned in two weeks after returning the key fob I had originally brought in, and FOR AN EXTRA $100, I would receive a Key Fob that was guaranteed to work. This whole time and process was fruitless and the fact that I was charged anything at all to begin with is ridiculous. I would ABSOLUTELY AVOID this place!"

Brick mailbox repairs cost about $625 on average, ranging from about $500 to $750, depending on the extent of damage, type of brick and mortar, time of year, location, and experience level of the mason doing repairs. Hire a masonry contractor to inspect the brick mailbox’s damage and recommend a repair plan. They can also provide a price estimate that’s specific to your type and size of mailbox.
Yes, it’s usually possible to repair damaged brick mailboxes. If the masonry is damaged, the brick can be cut out and replaced, or the mortar joints can be cut out and retucked. However, the new mortar will likely be different in color from the original mortar joints. In most cases, if the mailbox itself is damaged, it’s possible to cut it out and replace it. Consult a masonry contractor to determine whether it’s worth repairing your brick mailbox based on its value and amount of damage.
Typically, a brick mason will repair a brick mailbox. They can provide an estimate for repairs, which may include sourcing replacement brick, mortar, and other materials. If your brick mailbox has been completely destroyed, you should check with your local building code enforcement office to confirm that a brick mailbox is allowed in your location as some areas do not allow brick mailboxes because of the potential hazard for drivers who may hit them.
Homeowners are responsible for maintaining their own mailboxes. Otherwise, a property manager is responsible for repairs and maintenance if the Post Office does not maintain it. If you own your home, you are responsible for maintaining the mailbox at the specified height, distance from the road, and functionality.
Mailbox repair can cost anywhere from $100 to $300, depending on the type of mailbox, materials involved, and labor cost. The estimated cost of repairs also depends on whether you need to replace the mailbox post, the post’s construction, and type of mailbox. If you have multiple mailboxes, the cost will increase compared to a single mailbox.
