"Think twice before you contract with Summit Painting. i hired Summit to paint the interior of my condo. The painting aspect of the job was fine. However, they showed a lack of respect for the property and the property owner. Two specific requests that i made were completely ignored, including to not unplug the refrigerator if/when they had to pull it away from the wall (even though i had attached an extension cord to it). They insisted on trying to remove a support for a wall shelf and damaged it in the process. They somehow managed to lose a slat from a window blind that they removed. Additionally, their reps were unresponsive after the job was completed; an email to their "manager" got no reply, as did a request to the point person handling the on-site work for a receipt showing final payment and zero balance. i've been second guessing myself for hiring this company based simply on a lower quote than i got from another company."

No communications were given by a project coordinator to indicate delays, leaving me wondering if/when the project would start at all - When the project finally began, a subcontractor showed up and worked for 3 days to completely demolish my old kitchen, and partially install new cabinets. They left me with nothing functional. - The company then proceeded to leave me stranded for an additional 76 days with no sink, and no way to cook for myself. - They failed to meet their obligation to install a temporary sink (as promised in our contract) and missed their obligation of **substantial project completion** by 61 days. - They refused to complete 2 major scope items (plumbing and electrical work) approximately 100 days into the project, citing information available to them on the first day I signed their contract. They initially offered me credits for only half the cost to cover these items elsewhere, forcing a week-long negation process. The subcontractor who actually did the work in my home was fantastic.
