"Artemio Del Toro, Jr. went above & beyond when it came to completing my cabinets. Artemio Del Toro's prices were unbelievably affordable. Their quality of work is unmatched. I cannot remember how many people have complimented their work every time they come into my kitchen! They communicated every step of the process with me to ensure I was kept in the loop and knew what was being done. You can really tell he cares about his workmanship and has a great eye to detail!"

"These guys are great. They came early, and they stayed late and finished the project early. They worked around my husbands and mine disabilities and always put our wishes and needs first. Not only did they refinished my 33 year old cupboards, they put in a new vanity, mirror, and all hardware in my front bath. Then when putting in the patio doggie door,, a lock had to be refashioned, and an excellent job was done. The clean up was excellent. All this, and a reasonable price. I will be using this company again and again."

Cabinet Contractors FAQs, answered by experts

Yes, you can replace the cabinet hardware after installation to change up the look of your cabinets. Replacing the hinges, handles, pulls, and knobs allows you the design flexibility to match your other appliances or finish schemes to your liking. Talk with your kitchen designer or cabinet installer about the best hardware option for your cabinets.

Yes, most builders include installation as part of the service. Confirm details with your provider.

In many homes, upper cabinets are installed with a 1- to 2-foot gap between the tops and the ceiling. However, many homeowners extend their cabinets to the ceiling to gain extra storage and a polished, built-in look.

There are three primary ways to attach upper kitchen cabinets to a wall, and installers may use more than one method at a time. The most common method is to drive screws through the back of the cabinets and into studs in the wall behind. Sometimes cabinets are glued to the wall with strong adhesive. Often a combination of screws and adhesive is desirable. The last way is by hanging the cabinets on hardware brackets that attach to the wall before cabinet installation.

DIY is possible, but professional assembly ensures proper alignment, stability, and cable management.
