"A fantastic experience from start to finish, BGL transformed our vague intentions into concrete form. We needed a soil and grass lawn converted to a rock garden with undemanding but beautiful flora. An adjacent ramp and slab needed to be replaced to correct their inclines. BGL rapidly produced a striking design and then enacted it rapidly and thoroughly. In addition to the concrete work, stone walkways were placed and a drip irrigation system was installed and integrated."

"I am very happy with my Kitchen remodel with Brother and Brother Builders. I was not anticipating doing a kitchen remodel this year, but I had some unexpected water damage which ultimately resulted in a full remodel. I had heard multiple stories about horrible experiences from others. I absolutely didn’t want to do this. When I first met Zion and Ray (the Brothers), they were very understanding of my situation. They didn’t pressure me into anything and spent the time to explain my options. After some discussion and research, I signed with B&B Builders. Zion walked me through the process and gave me a plan on when I needed to order various items (cabinets, sink, appliances, etc). I ended up ordering items with lengthy lead times but Zion was very flexible with each new delay. Zion managed the job from start to finish. At every stage of the project, he sent very professional specialists. The project began with mold remediation and asbestos removal and quickly advanced to the design stage. Zion brought over a design specialist who, measured and prepared a 3D computer generated layout design. She was very creative and developed a plan that I had not considered. Julio (Site Supervisor) and Auner were regulars in my home. Every morning, they arrived at my house at 8:00 a.m. and were done for the day by 5:00 p.m. They left my home clean and organized every time. If they happened to arrive early, they would wait outside until 8:00 a.m. before they knocked on my door. They were very courteous and professional. Their work was done quickly and with great care to ensure that I would be happy with the result. I ended up expanding my project to include new hardwood floors, carpeting, full interior painting and a new heater/air conditioning system with the heater in the attic. Every single professional who Zion sent to my home was courteous, professional and good at what they do. The project is over and I am very happy with my new kitchen and with the entire experience. I do miss the crew though. They made this experience so positive. I enjoyed coming home every day to find the new thing they had done while I was at work. I didn’t miss a single day of work and I was never uncomfortable with the professionals Zion sent to my home. I have recommended Brother and Brother Builders to my family and friends and am delighted to provide this feedback."

"Work was completed to our general satisfaction. Payment is the issue now. Contractor was eager to start the work within a couple of days so getting a deposit check to him ahead of time so he could order the asphalt thru a supplier was impossible. So we agreed to pay the supplier directly by giving them our credit card number, and did authorize and receive a receipt for the first order of asphalt, which payment we were told on the phone by the supplier would be enough to pay for the whole job and we may get a refund for the balance later, which we also did. Work was then completed and the contractor gave us a final request for payment, which we paid. However, we learned a month later on our bank statement a second charge by the asphalt supplier for material to the contractor (neither our name nor address was on their bill of sale so we don't even know if the second charge was for our project) was made without our knowledge or authorization. This constitutes fraud as well. So when we added up all of our payments to both the supplier and the contractor it exceeded our contract amount by $626.35. When I alerted both the supplier and the contractor about this asking for the refund there was no commitment to do so nor any dispute with our request. This was over two weeks ago, and the contractor has not responded or refunded us the overpayment. We've left multiple phone and email messages."

"I noticed some of the wood framing my window exteriors had visible dry rot.  Eagle Construction was on time for the estimate appointment and was by far the most reasonable bid so I gave them the job.
Michael from Eagle arrived on time to start the work and was very friendly and efficient.  We evaluated the siding beneath the dry rot and agreed it was still in good shape.  Michael cut the new wood to fit and even corrected some minor mistakes in the original work.  He took the time to shim and sand pieces so the edges would line up properly.  After replacing the wood, he painted the new boards and the siding around them that had been marked when the old wood was removed.  He then proceeded to check and recaulk every window, not just the ones he worked on.  Michael also sealed a large crack in the patio concrete as per our contract.  When finished he cleaned up everything, including washing down our back patio.
I would definitely use Eagle Construction again."

Concrete Mudjacking questions, answered by experts

Common issues with concrete that may require professional repair or resurfacing include cracks, spalling, uneven surfaces, and weather damage.

Mudjacking can be an expensive foundation repair process, but in many cases, it’s well worth the investment. This is especially true if you’re lifting a portion of sunken foundation slab back into place. In that case, mudjacking can help avoid major structural damage and even home collapse by restoring the integrity of your structure with minimally invasive procedures. Mudjacking a concrete patio, walkway, or sidewalk can be worthwhile because it removes tripping hazards and makes your outdoor area more aesthetically appealing.

Most projects take 1-3 hours, with immediate usability after completion.

Yes, expanding foam (also known as polyurethane foam) can lift concrete. This approach, called polyjacking, involves injecting the foam rather than concrete slurry to fill voids and raise the concrete slab back into place. It’s often faster and requires smaller drill holes than traditional mudjacking, though it may come at a higher cost. Some contractors also prefer polyjacking over mudjacking for more damaged and delicate slabs.

The average cost for mudjacking is around $1,200, though prices can range from $300 to $3,400. On a per-square-foot basis, you can expect to pay between $3 and $8, with an average of about $5 per square foot. The final cost depends on several factors, including the square footage of the concrete, the type of slab, its accessibility, whether it is load-bearing, and the type of material used to lift it. Generally, lifting a driveway, small patio, or sidewalk is less expensive than lifting a slab foundation or garage floor.
