"Response was timely, professional. I think the extra $$ for trenchless coupled with the knowledge I have of 2 previous water mains buried in the lawn which they could possibly hit when boring, made me go for more traditional trenching. "Jose was fast quick and efficient, he did a great job installing the toilet. I asked him to provide me with an estimate for installation of a kitchen faucet, and he installed it on the spot and did a nice job. There was some minor cosmetic damage done to my toilet, which isn't a huge deal but it was a brand new toilet."

Creig has provided services for us for years.  Whatever needs doing on a house, he can and does do.  He is a skilled electrician, plumber, contractor, etc.  He has fixed garage doors, installed new garage door openers, installed lighting indoors and outside, fixed sliding glass doors, fixed plumbing leaks, etc. He comes immediately in case of an emergency to do emergency repairs.  He is always very professional, extremely skilled and a real gem. He cleans up thoroughly before leaving. I can't praise him highly enough.  He is honest and will tell you truthfully what can/should be done or what can wait. His charges are very reasonable. His work is excellent in every respect.

"During a house purchase US Trenchless came out and scoped the main sewer line.  They gave me a detailed report.  They also gave me a quote to replace the line.  After doing some comparison shopping US Trenchless beat a competitors low bid by 10%.  The work was done on time and professionally.  I would recommend them and use them again.  Ross and Tim were great."

The most common garbage disposal size in the U.S. is 1/2 horsepower. This size is ideal for households with three or fewer people or those that don't produce much food waste. When a dishwasher discharges its wastewater, it uses a pump to quickly move a lot of water. Following regular dishwasher maintenance tips like clearing clogs, keeping them cleared, and occasionally running the disposal will eliminate the problem.

Once you have your garbage disposal disconnected, you can remove the mounting bracket by unscrewing the bolts that are holding the bracket. You can back them out just enough to pop off the snap ring, which prevents the bottom portion of the bracket from disconnecting from the top when you unscrew the bolts. Use a regular screwdriver to pop off the snap ring, and the rest of the components should fall off by themselves.

On average, a garbage disposal can last anywhere from 7 to 12 years, with many models functioning well for about 10 years. With heavy usage, a motor may last a minimum of five years, while grinding plates will wear down over time. It's generally a good idea to consider a replacement if your unit is approaching the 10-year mark. Other signs that it's time for a new disposal include frequent leaks, persistent clogs, lingering odors, lack of power, or unusual noises. If your unit is not that old, it's worth investigating if a less expensive part, like a rubber seal or a loose hose, is causing the issue.

While unplugging your garbage disposal and plugging it back in may help, most units have an actual reset button, a bright red switch found on the underside of your unit. If your garbage disposal needs resetting, you may notice this button sticking out about a quarter of an inch from the surface of the unit, with which it’s usually flush. Simply depress this reset button to reset the unit, and then test to ensure it’s working about 10 minutes later.
