"They did the most wonderful job. The other top rated service providers listed on Angie's list didn't even want to touch it. They looked at it and said that it couldn't be repaired. This company was able to save my oak wood floors. They were able to make my floor look brand new."

Customers say: True professional

"Leo was very helpful and quick to respond. We’re happy with how our 2 bathrooms turned out. Project was completed within the time promised. Our only complaint is that the workers did not clean up very well. But overall, we’re satisfied and we’ll use them again."

"I responded to an email from Dust Away ( I had used them before) and bought a special of 4 hours of cleaning for $99.   I called the next day to set up n appointment and was able to get the date and time I wanted.   I confirmed via email that we were all good to go.  The 2 maids arrived on time and I asked that they concentrate on floors and dusting for me.   I had had workmen in the week before to re-pipe so the floors were in need of attention and I have problems keeping up with the dusting.   They worked hard for 2 hours and the house looked so much better.   I am very happy with them and would call them to come again in the future.

"Hired Clara and her team to do a move-out cleaning for my previous apartment and a move-in cleaning for my new house. Her prices were much better than the other companies I searched. Clara was kind, readily available, and easy to communicate with. The cleanings were so good that I booked her again when I bought a cat and found out my son and I were allergic. After a few Benadryls and a deep clean it felt like we were back in a brand you house! Thank you Clara you are a life saver!"

Floor Cleaning and Waxing questions, answered by experts

Dust mops are the best option for tackling dirt and dust on marble floors. Vacuums aren’t a good idea as the brushes and beater rolls can scratch and damage your marble floors. If you must use a vacuum, make sure your vacuum has a setting for hard floors, and take care not to apply too much pressure when rolling the vacuum across your marble floor.

After carpet removal, prepare for new flooring by assessing the subfloor. You will want to address any imperfections to create a smooth and level base for installation. Remember, proper subfloor preparation is crucial for optimal new flooring results. Consider repairing and replacing damaged areas for a stable foundation. For both wood and concrete subfloors, consider sanding to remove any debris or adhesives remaining thoroughly.

The best way to clean vinyl floors is to vacuum or sweep away debris and then mop the floors using a mixture of warm water and dish soap or vinegar. You can also use store-bought cleaners if they’re marked safe for vinyl surfaces.

To maintain tile and grout, clean the surfaces regularly with mild, non-abrasive cleaners and wipe up spills promptly to prevent buildup. It is also important to reseal the grout every 1-2 years to maintain its durability.

You can use dish soap mixed with warm water to clean just about any type of flooring, and while vinegar is a great addition to some floor cleaners, it’s not a good idea to use it on wood flooring or engineered wood flooring. Vinegar is very acidic, and it can gradually eat away at the protective finish on wood floors. If you’re cleaning laminate, tile, concrete, or vinyl floors, feel free to use vinegar and water in a 1-to-1 ratio with a few drops of dish soap. For wood floors, substitute the vinegar for olive oil.
